This week I did IPL round 4 of 4 and then lid debridement + LipiFlow for the MGD / severe dry eye. This afternoon I'm sitting atop Mission Peak after months of struggling with everyday tasks. I've done *far* more challenging routes but this is the *hardest* hike I've ever been on. 😮‍💨 I'm so happy 🥲

So ... MGD with some gland loss, the oil glands in my eyes aren't working so my tears evaporate. Never going to heal. Can be managed. Maybe also mild EBMD in the right eye. Punctal Plugs and IPL as soon as I can. Plus steroid drops and Muro-128. Retinal specialist for the mole on the left next.
