Pet peeve: People complaining about the way I maintain my open source projects under MIT license (particularly my decision to use stale bot, since I don't like seeing literal thousands of open issues across my repos). Just fork it! No skin off my back. www.jeffgeerling.com/blog/2022/ju...

Baseball!

If anyone still needs a badge for #Animazement, send me a message! I bought one ages ago and I don't need it anymore, so I'm hoping to find someone who does. #animazement2025

Love this story. Last night Amelia Nierenberg went to the Magic Circle to see Sophie Lloyd finally get back her membership of the club 🪄🐇🎩

The Seinfeld Finale of championship matches. And largely in a good way. #AEWDynamite

I thought AEW didn’t subscribe to the Freebird Rule. #AEWDynamite

Bluesky should put [good] or [bad] on SCOTUS posts because I don't have the brain power to parse sentences like these.

I'm going to manifest for @simonegiertz.bsky.social's next puzzle: @hangmanpage.bsky.social. Either the as-seen-on-TV life or the gardening life, both have grown on winding paths that reward patience. Or do it double-sided? #leavesisplants www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdU3...

I guess Elon didn't...bring enough cheddar.

Young people: You will encounter many times in your life when no one will see your vision but you. No one will care but you. No one will hear it but you. They will only react to the results. You just have to stay the course to produce them. Prove them wrong.

I have no special feelings for or against the Giants, but seeing pro teams like them (and @jrmotorsports.bsky.social) on here feels like a heck of a vote of confidence. Happy to see them here. #mundussinecaesaribus

I was a Tweetbot user until the bitter end. This makes me irrationally happy.

Singapore, an island city-state that is smaller than New York City, charges drivers thousands of dollars just for the right to buy a vehicle. The price of the permits rises with a car’s value. Here's a look at how it works.

Unlike Wu-Tang, Abolish Everything is *not* for the children. But it is hilarious.

look at this cute little bastard i planted this weekend. soon he and his 69 siblings will all grow together to form a flowering carpet thatll make the neighbors stop and go ‘hey would ya look at that, that’s nice huh? isnt that nice?’

Specifically for @maffewgregg.bsky.social (and I guess for everyone else since it happened live on YouTube for the world to see...) Why yes, the Savannah Bananas *are* the table. youtube.com/clip/Ugkx3Cp...

Spotify reports a spike in streams of “Facts” from TLOP coming from Beaverton, Oregon.

happy season premier day to all my jet lag the game besties with nebula!

Because this is downtown Lexington, this is a story about a lack of vision.

nebula hired a social media manager and now i can no longer think of captions that are more clever than the ones they already posted but uh.... it's season 13. go watch the season 13 trailer

I've heard deficit hawks shoot down a lot of things that would help the average American, stuff that many developed countries have somehow figured out. I'd love to see how they vote on this.

(A reminder that their "center right" is our "somewhere between Bernie and Hillary". Overton windows are fun.)

Hey! (EW), @rjcity.bsky.social's #AEW interview show and some of the funniest content in the wrestling space, has its three year anniversary in a few weeks. In celebration, I made a list of ten episodes that I feel encapsulate the show's variety and sense of humor. Let me know if I missed your fav!

Ten years ago today, I took a trip down to Augusta to catch lunch with a woman I met online. Now she's known as Mrs. Leverette, and now I'm known as the luckiest.

Today marks 83 years since Executive Order 9066 forced over 120,000 Japanese Americans into concentration camps. Photographer Dorothea Lange was hired by the government to document the forced relocation of these families. She made images of life before, during, and after the camps.
