Playoff EPM was just released by dunksandthrees: dunksandthrees.com/epm/actual?s... thanks @yourmandevine.bsky.social for the heads up

in-progress charts for a single players' postseason net points Still needs to get grouped by series and show the opponent and result

Net points per game for the Knicks and the Pacers so far this postseason

Net points so far this postseason for the Timberwolves and Thunder, including last night's game

It is extremely fun to do the first 80% of things

Net points in the playoffs so far, according to Dean Oliver's espnanalytics.com Note that this is a sum of net points, so players who played more games had more chances to accumulate points

I added all the ESPN analytics NBA data from @deanolytics.bsky.social's espnanalytics.com to my nba_data project and stuck it in a parquet file. It's available here if you want to mess with it: github.com/llimllib/nba... I haven't made any graphics with it yet, but that's coming soon

My relief at seeing this graph is so deep

Playoff scoring efficiency so far. Giannis way out ahead of the pack, but it wasn't enough - a win for @owenphillips.bsky.social 's weak link theory

Gary “Bill Buckner” Trent Jr

I'm watching the Boston Marathon on TV this year and just hearing the crowd is making me emotional

Added @deanolytics.bsky.social 's Net Points metric to my graphs this morning. Here it is next to EPM I find it interesting how much they differ on SGA's defensive value
