Being uninvited from the White House caused Rand Paul to lose a lot of the respect he had for Donald Trump that Trump’s two impeachments, insurrection, four criminal indictments, criminal conviction, and sexual abuse damages verdict did not cause him to lose. Got it.

In today’s “Wait A Damn Minute!” we share the truth about Trump’s attack on birthright citizenship. Let’s call it what it is: RACISM. I’m your Shadow Press Secretary and here are the facts. @thepersistnetwork.bsky.social #WADM

Could you imagine the response if a democratic president said they didn’t know if they had to uphold the Constitution? How fast would the articles of impeachment be drawn ? 20 minutes at the most

Just curious, what’s the tariff on a $400 million jet from Qatar?

Hi everybody. Just a note: I hate Lindsey Graham too, but can we knock it off with the homophobic slurs? I know you think you're being clever, but a lot of what's been said is basically "Lindsey is bad because he might be gay," and that's not okay. Thank you.

Paramount kowtows to fascism, and the team at Sixty Minutes calls them out for what they did. Bully for them!

Pritzker: Time to stop wondering if you can trust the nuclear codes to people who don’t know how to organize a group chat. It’s time to stop ignoring the hypocrisy in wearing a big gold cross while announcing the defunding of children’s cancer research…

Shameful, @paramountnewsbr.bsky.social

Stop what you’re doing & listen to this!

Has the White House told us that the 4-year-old cancer patient belonged to MS 13 yet? It’s only a matter of time.

Just heard someone say “he sounds like he spends a lot of time on Facebook” and hooo boy everyone’s immediate understanding of what that means should be a brand crisis for Meta

My eldest daughter Claudia once asked me why there isn’t a provision that says that convicted felons can’t be president and this was *exactly* my answer

If we’re serious about more efficient government and better everyday life in America - which we all should be - that means actually improving government, not cutting health care for poor people and slashing support for veterans.

Calling ASD a “disease” is stigmatizing and without basis. Tracking people with ASD in a database is fascistic and terrifying.

these people hate DEI because they would be unemployable in any system where they couldn’t rely on favoritism and nepotism

"I look at war plans every single day" -- Pete Hegseth (we know dude, we've seen your Signal chats)

*Of course* advance information on US combat operations is classified. Pretending otherwise is an insult to our troops, who all know this. The Secretary is unfit to lead.

Not sure who needs to hear this, but any govt official who violates someone's constitutional rights -- and is acting outside the scope of their lawful authority -- can be PERSONALLY liable in a civil suit. ICE officers. Cabinet members. White House staffers. Even the president.

Calm down, folks, it was just an attempted assassination of a Jewish Democratic governor and his family on the first night of Passover, it’s not like somebody spray painted a dick on a Cybertruck.

Donold sends people with soccer tattoos to El Salvador and lets people with swastika tattoos go free.

If I were Judge Xinis, I would order the government to produce, in her courtroom, officials who were in a position to answer her questions and to do so under oath. Letting DOJ continue to prevaricate and deflect responsibility in written submissions seems ... insufficient at this point.

Does anyone remember Signalgate?

A reminder that if the government can send migrants to a prison camp without any due process, it can send U.S. citizens there, too. I know because this happened to me and my family in 1942.

I can only imagine the bailout package they are drawing up for themselves. As the saying goes, privatize the profits, and socialize the losses.

Sign of the day…Chicago

You expected something different from a guy who inherited $400 million and went bankrupt?

Who did this?

We put tariffs on an uninhabited island full of penguins but not Russia. Very normal administration we have here.

It's not a bad idea to go to the local Walmart or big box retailer and buy lots of consumables now. From toothpaste to soap, anything you can find storage space for, buy before they have to replenish inventory. Even if it's made in the USA , they will jack up the price and blame it on tariffs.

The last day on which a majority of the Supreme Court’s justices had been appointed by Democratic presidents was May 14, 1969. One of the things we do in the legal academy is support our claims with facts.

The same people in DC who got us into this mess are not going to be the ones to get us out of it. Today I'm announcing my campaign for U.S. Senate. Because we don't have a minute to wait.

I'm not a programming guy but MSNBC and CNN should be airing this Cory Booker thing in the same way you take over programming if there's a no-hitter or a basketball player with 60 points in three quarters. It's a physical feat! Cut in for this kind of thing. Costs nothing, gooses ratings, good TV.

My advice is if your law firm can't say this, get yourself a new law firm. "Elias Law Group will not be deterred from fighting for democracy in court. There will be no negotiation with this White House about the clients we represent or the lawsuits we bring on their behalf."

🚨 BREAKING: Judge Susan Crawford crushes it in Wisconsin’s Supreme Court race. Trump endorsed. Elon dumped his cash. Voters wiped the floor with both. Democrats are winning. Republicans are flailing. America’s sending a message: Sit down. We’re done with the clown show.

Sen. Booker’s speech was a substantive and moral account of this moment. He did not read the phone book. He did not babble. For 24 hours @booker.senate.gov laid out a detailed, damning, and critical narrative of truth, history, politics, morality, humanity. What will you do?

I may be tired and a little hoarse, but as I said again and again on the Senate floor, this is a moment where we cannot afford to be silent, when we must speak up.

The fact that the Department of Justice has not, and will never, launch an investigation into this massive national security breach tells you all you need to know about this lawless and profoundly corrupt Administration.

NBC News: The Espionage Act contains a provision making it crime to disclose national defense secrets "through gross negligence."   The law does not require info be classified, because it was written before the classification system existed. The law refers simply to "national defense information."

Well, they lied. Obviously.

Whatever happened to the "5 things " DoGe emails ? Talked to someone really smart who just left gov, who said all the emails bounced back as inbox full. Already forgotten Typical Ready Fire Aim

Might save a life.

AOC: It's really because Republicans— they’re very thin skinned and they're very sensitive, and their feelings are very easily hurt. And so they have to vote on censure resolutions.

Exactly this.

“I won’t forget” ?

Ha! The internet remembers everything. 🤣🤣

Hey Hawkeyes fans! When the children’s hospital no longer exists after Medicaid and NIH cuts… will you still wave to the empty pediatric hospital?
