Lies. I only ever know it needs an update when a device in my home glitches out: sure enough, every time, if I then go into the admin console it says it needs an update. When upstream connectivity slightly changes: needs a manual reboot. Something in DNS land sneezes: you’re offline.

I don’t like winter, and despise when daylight saving time and nice “high” sun ends. Low-angle light and “lost” hours in winter ruins me until my beloved daylight saving time returns. I never realised I had mild seasonal affective disorder until I moved to the Middle East.
