America has abandoned any claim to leadership of the free world. Trump's America is now aligned with Russia against Europe. Longstanding US allies have lost all confidence in America. It will take decades to restore lost trust.

And Trump blames Zelensky.

Russia sees Trump's cringing weakness and acts accordingly.

Europe should just ignore the Trump regime's antics on Ukraine. Let them cozy up to Putin, which is clearly their aim. Europe should step up support for Ukraine, so that Ukraine has no need to bow to the gangster demands of the White House mafia.

The best defence of Britain's interests against the Trump tariff onslaught would be to draw closer to our key allies in Europe and Canada. Starmer's approach reeks of weakness and cowardice. We need to stand up to the bully, not bow and scrape before him.

More evidence of how much Putin wants peace.

Sumy region, the border with Russia. The Russian army is wiping that area off the face of the earth. In some villages, it is impossible to even evacuate civilians - Russian FPV drones attack all vehicles. This is what Putin really wants. He doesn't want peace.

There comes a point when Starmer needs to recognise that attempting to be a bridge between America and Europe isn't working. The Trump regime has fully sold out to Russia. We must look to ourselves. We must stand with Europe. We must stand with Ukraine.

And Trump says Putin wants peace. Enough of this nonsense. Russia will only stop when it is stopped.

As long as the opposition to Trump in the US remains so feeble, he can do as he likes. But other countries have agency, and can reject the Trump dictat, as Canada & Europe are doing. As a consequence of the Trump regime's insanity, America's clout in the world is declining fast.

The hypocrite Maria Zakharova, no less responsible for the war than her patron Putin, feigns concern for Kursk's children while having cold-bloodedly unleashed a massive bloodbath with cries of "Kyiv in three days." Now, these vile criminals have the audacity to play the victim.

The British govt cannot maintain the fiction that Trump's America is an ally. It's actively supporting Russia. We should not even be sharing intelligence information with the compromised Trump regime. Britain needs to stand with Europe in giving full support to Ukraine.

At some point we all, Ukrainians and Ukraine's allies in Europe, need to recognise that the Trump regime is not a good-faith actor, that nothing can be expected from that quarter except treachery. Zaluzhny is right. America is lost to Putin.

Meanwhile in Russia: State Duma member Oleg Morozov and giddy propagandists Olga Skabeeva and Evgeny Popov rejoiced about Trump keeping and exceeding his promises, while Moscow isn't giving an inch. They expect him to deliver even more blows to Ukraine. www.youtube.com/watch?v=AcOO...

American satellites will see Russian planes setting off to attack Ukrainian cities, and won't warn Ukraine. That's how evil the Trump regime's denial of intelligence information to Ukraine is. Complicity in murder.

At some point we have to stop this mentality that Europe can do nothing without America. Trump's America is lost, it's gone. It's siding with Russia. Europe needs to find the strength within itself to stand with Ukraine and give it all the support it needs.

So now, because Zelensky didn’t wear a suit or agree to Trump’s extortion, Trump freezes support to Ukraine… He wants Zelensky on his knees and Ukraine to suffer further hell, in order to pander to his grotesque ego. Presumably he also expects us all to thank him for this murderous betrayal.

While Trump & his attack dog Vance berote brave Zelensky, the Russian armed forces continue the war as if nothing has happened. Trump has not asked Putin to make the slightest concession & Putin has not provided any, because Trump is Putin's obedient servant.

For the US to side with Russia and North Korea to oppose a UN resolution condemning the illegal invasion of Ukraine defies all common sense and adds insult to the countless injuries suffered by the brave Ukrainian people. edition.cnn.com/2025/02/24/p...

Europe has to face up to the reality that Trump's predatory America is no longer an ally, but a threat. We must look to ourselves.

The betrayal of Ukraine, the gangsterism that seeks to extort hundreds of billions out of Ukrainians' suffering, is a disgrace that will continue to shame America in a hundred years time.

America will have to live with the shame of what's happening here for years. www.wsj.com/world/europe...

Europe can no longer afford to put its security in America's hands. We can't afford to depend on US military technology. As Ukraine is experiencing, if ever we face a crisis, rather than supporting us, the US can use it as an opportunity for extortion.

“If you're not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing.” A classic quote from Malcolm X, who was assassinated 60 years ago today.

Russia's leaders are literally laughing at how easily they've played Trump and destroyed the western alliance.

From World Policeman to Global Gangster In a Truth Social post Donald Trump wrote Ukraine’s Zelenskyy “better move fast” or he won’t have a country left. Trump added that Zelenskyy had “done a terrible job” and called him a dictator “without elections”. www.theguardian.com/world/live/2...

Trump has ruled himself out of having any say in Ukraine's fate. Ukraine rejects his so-called negotiations (which are nothing but a sell-out to Putin). And Europe rejects them. Led by a president who just parrots Russian propaganda lines, the US is no longer a player in Europe.

Zelensky is no Beneš. This won't be Munich 1938. Ukraine will not accept the dictat of Putin and Trump. Ukrainians have shown the mettle they are made of. They won't submit to Trump's bullying. Europe must now step up and provide Ukraine with far stronger support. We must stand with Ukraine.

Give Us Zelensky’s Head Moscow's most prominent talking heads say that Russia isn't interested in negotiations, but hopes to use the talks to get rid of Zelensky with Trump's and Kellogg's help. My latest for @cepa.org: cepa.org/article/exci...

If the treachery of the Trump regime has one good outcome, it's that Europe will get its act together, step up to the mark and provide Ukraine the assistance it needs. By betraying and insulting all its allies, America is just making itself irrelevant.

Europe has given more support to Ukraine than the US. Europe needs to do more. But nevertheless, facts matter.

'Ukraine has bought Europe time by standing as its first line of defence. Enough of that time has already been squandered through refusal to recognise the danger. History may never forgive the current generation of European leaders if their procrastination continues' www.ft.com/content/f268...
