Great job, GBC! > George Brown College just launched new solar energy technician and solar panel installer certificate programs to prepare students for solar installation jobs. The two new courses are online and asynchronous so students can tackle the conte www.nationalobserver.com/2025/05/09/n...

This is the best baseball I’ve seen the #BlueJays play this year. They’re finally separating from someone instead of letting them stick around for another 4-2 game. This will be a massive shift in momentum going into an off day at 20-20.

How did Yimi get out of that?

Well, your 2nd answer was sillier than the first, but this totally wins the discussion. Bye.

That was an amazing word salad. Yikes!

What causes your skepticism? Love to hear the barriers you think exist

“Things are changing very rapidly. This is an occasion for a big rethink of the auto sector canon. We can’t continue to think conventionally." APMA's Flavio Volpe www.nationalobserver.com/2025/05/09/a...

Despite a bruising election campaign, Mark Carney is willing to help Pierre Poilievre get back into the House of Commons as quickly as possible. It's a sign of his seriousness as prime minister — and his growing skill as a politician. www.nationalobserver.com/2025/05/06/o...

Who is JD Tuccille when he/she is at home?

Pierre Poilievre in a nutshell. If ever there was a case to drain the swamp...

Hahaha… OK. Turns out there are much better EVs from other companies these days.

Hey @mark-carney.bsky.social now that the election is over, how about we stop tarriffing BYD EV cars out of the Canadian market for the US government and Tesla. Let's make a deal with China for production and charging tech. Time to diversify. #cdnpoli #BYD #bringBYDtoCanada #evcars

I like it.

There are far more #FirstNations objecting to #AB #DanielleSmith than just Sturgeon Lake Cree, Mikisee Cree and Onion Lake Cree Nations. I just have yet to see a line that made me as giddy as “free to apply for citizenship elsewhere.” 🙇🏼‍♀️ Thank you Indigenous for standing up. #ABPoli #CdnPoli

We will agree to disagree. Have a good night.

Sure. But it’s not ‘one of the Conservatives 3 main priorities.’

A $4bn per year tax increase is not nothing, but it doesn’t move the dial. Not one of the Conservatives main priorities, but of course a Conservative government would cut it.

So begins the Canadian post-election tradition of the Wexit movement resurgence while sane Canada just basks in the silence that is no more election ads. #cdnpoli

Those three fiscal changes (despite the poetic rhyming) are not going to be missed nor change the agenda. Carbon taxing will shift to industrial/import (as effective), tax changes are marginal, same with capital gains on high income earners. I think you will be pleasantly surprised on the curbs.

I’m assuming you’re an NDP or Bloc supporter then?

Quick - name the Conservatives’ top three policies.

Heroic in your denial. Bravo.

I agree- really well done. Happy we get to keep it.

Me to @brucefanjoy.bsky.social right now:

My kids just asked me what a sub-deal is, and now I have to explain that when a mama and a papa love each other very much -- well, quite a bit though not enough to make an actual deal -- they cuddle very closely and make sub-deals.

You are not familiar with parliamentary politics?

George Springer is living his life in extremes. The sooner the #BlueJays follow his lead, the sooner they'll start piling up runs: www.mlb.com/bluejays/new...

Ridiculous.

It hasn’t tightened. It’s stayed almost exactly the same for two weeks.

The future is charging at home.

That’s actually pretty good.

Well played!

It’s a BC provincial thing, both chargers and cars.

Won’t Ingram be that guy?

Voted in Victoria today- Moss Street school polling station was a madhouse. Looks like there will be a significant uptick in participation.

Victoria has an amazing bike lane infrastructure, and every addition is met by complaints. But the bike traffic is now integrated and busy.

No one believes they stole Tesla technology. Do you have a source for that?

As British soldiers were being evacuated from Dunkirk, the 1st Canadian Division was already in the UK as the only fully armed force to defend the shores. This photo of Canadians in the Battle of Britain is displayed across from our parliament. We fought fascism from day 1. Don't fuck with us.

Catholic Church, from what I understand.

Listen, if Rebel News gets to ask questions, @thebeaverton.com should get to ask questions. Let me ask Pierre if he thinks my biological clock looks fertile enough. I'll wear a blazer and everything. Don't deny me my rights, you cowards www.cbc.ca/news/politic...

Best night for a rager, back in my day: Rock ‘n’ Roll night at the Bombshelter courtesy of my friend Bill and his mixtapes.

Literally like half of the questions are going to disinformation spewing grifter outlets who are using it as an opportunity to spew absolute bullshit under the guise of asking questions. Great work, leaders debate.

Blue Jays struck out 19 hitters today – that's the most in franchise history. Bassitt: 10, Little: 3, Sandlin: 1, Yimi Garcia: 4, Hoffman: 1

Have to say the other parties stepped up their game this week. Blue/red/orange - even the odd hard right or green signs

Agreed. Even work trips up Island cost me about $8 charging round trip. Otherwise $10/mth to plug in at the condo.

That was pretty well done, actually
