Your moment of Zen at the National Museum of the American Indian. Despite everything that’s happening, DC carries on.

In honor of the Library of Congress's current struggle and valiant fight and enduring value, I'll re-share some of the photos I took during my Kluge fellowship this spring:

Today @anosro.bsky.social gave me a 🌟 behind-the-scenes tour of the Conservation Division @ the Library of Congress, where they conserve daguerreotypes, repair 📘 bindings, mend tears, + build custom 📦 to keep everything safe. What a marvelous, skilled, dedicated team. This is our government, too!

Dr. Carla Going to the library of congress was absolutely life changing. And it was all because of u. Thank u for ur passion ur knowledge & dedication to the history of our country. Your leadership & legacy will live on. Let’s get a drink next time I’m in DC & turn some pain into champagne! xoxo

Another half marathon in the books! It was a nice, cool day for a run. Congrats to everyone who ran Rock and Roll DC today!
