I never knew this existed and its quite lovely

Which group is larger? A) People who encountered, in the wild, a left-leaning person or document encouraging them to use "latinx." B) People who heard, via media, that the left is encouraging everyone to use "latinx." Leave your answer below.

If you retain a place in your heart and your record shelves for the sounds of early Creation/Sarah Records/shambling/C86 pop/indie pop, then I honestly think this beautifully shot film we made is a perfect way to spend a Bank Holiday hour. sensitivealbum.com/sensitive-fi... (pic: Ken Copsey)

If you spend money on something you will then have less money. Huge if true.

Thank you to Gail O'Hara of the legendary CHICKFACTOR for covering the film of Sensitive show. Interviews with our illustrious house band really evoke the spirit of the launch. And you can also get a further flavour of that magical night by viewing the trailer. www.chickfactor.com/sometimes-i-...

I was hugely honoured to be part of this. Such a magical day and evening. All yours for the price of a pint. sensitivealbum.com/the-film/?fb...

The Laugharne Festival weekend also saw some great book talks and poetry by Richard King and Brian Bilston and music by Ynys and Swansea Sound!

I don't normally sign petitions because I don't think they work. I signed this one even though I didn't think it would work. I was wrong. It worked. Good!

The thing about our label is that we get carried away and keep adding more bits until our profit margin is only visible with a microscope. Which is why #BandcampFriday is so huge for us. If you were thinking of buying Sensitive now's the time! needlemythology.bandcamp.com/album/sensit...

📈 In The Black Stuff 📖 tr.ee/4Kvcl9 A detailed breakdown of the finances of our recent sold out show in Dublin, Ireland. Hoping this provides some insight into what it takes to get the LC! show on the road.

At first thought the Daily Express had updated its marketing slogan to present a more honest assessment of the paper's contents

Lovely. Proud to have been a part of the return of James!

OK. This one I have some issues with. 1. Too 'griddy for London generally, especially 'Emma Chant Estate'. Estates are just not laid out like that. 2. By contrast, looking very 'modern estatey' is Albert Square and its 3 near neighbours. An old square like that wouldn't have such close-by replicas.

Haven't watched for years, but these are outstanding

Yesterday I was still in a daze, watching the posts and clips and processing the fact that I was not only there but actually lucky to be in the house band. One of the most special nights I've ever been involved in. Thanks to @petepaphides.bsky.social for having the idea and making it happen.

Stan Laurel visiting his mum and dad in 1932. Trust me. You need this. youtu.be/J3K43OEC9jw?...

Very much looking forward to playing at what looks like a great event.

The discussion on this thread is why Bluesky is still an excellent place

"What will I do? I'll have a good lie in, go down The Fat Ox for a game of doms, come back, watch the box, pull a cracker and open a tin of pork luncheon meat." #Poetry

Interesting. On the more objective ones (UK perspective) I say Most close knit communities: pre WW2. Most moral: post Thatcher, pre modern fash. Say 1995-2010. Least political division 1963-1967. Most reliable news. 1963 - 1980 (pre Murdoch) Best economy 1994-2006 (but masking what was to come)

I appreciate the warning and will make haste

#Laurel24 #MusicChallenge DAY 14 - THE BRILL BUILDING ◼️THE DENTISTS ◼️I HAD AN EXCELLENT DREAM Live in 1986 🎧👇 Is that Noel Gallagher playing Paul McCartney in a remake of Please Sir!? (Joking aside, it’s a truly brill song)

Banter is like sex. It is a two way process based on mutual respect and understanding. If you're doing it on your own, what you are is a wanker

Exciting Heavenly news! For me at least! We have another London show in July 2025, as part of a Skep Wax Weekender. We will also release a new 7”single at the show. It will likely be one of very few shows we do in 2025, because we are also writing and recording an album. Whoop!

Sensitive: an indie pop anthology Bandcamp/Indie Store pre-orders open 06/12/24 at 8 a.m. GMT.

This is very true - both the original post and Andrew's interpretation.

It’s December! And therefore there is of course a new Swansea Sound CD in a Christmas Card. Surely you’ll be wanting one for everyone in your family! swanseasound.bandcamp.com/album/i-wann...
