The US Court of International Trade tonight has ruled the Trumpanzee’s extraordinary tariffs illegal. That’s great news but what I want to know is why did it take them so long? After all, it’s only been four months but I suppose they had to get the language just right…

It looks like Trump & Co are going to ruin the summer vacations for a lot of people this year including us. It was bad enough during Covid, this year all the help will be actively hiding or not going to the islands at all.

On this eve of Memorial Day my wife said something very sad today. Her dad served in World War II and ultimately died because of it, two of my uncles also served in WWII and I served during Vietnam. Her observation was “I used to be proud to be an American but now I’m not”
