The sky chair has been retired, but the hammock is not a bad substitute.

They use goats to control weeks in Rock Hill park (north of Sleepy Hollow). Pretty cool.

I've been thinking about Fiverr CEO Michael Kaufmann's recent comments on AI replacing jobs. There's a certain irony when the CEO of a platform that essentially pioneered the gig economy warns about AI disruption. hyperdev.substack.com/p/ai-is-comi...

Agentic Coding Isn’t Just About the Model Claude 3. GPT-4 Turbo. Gemini Ultra. These are the new engines of software. But if you’ve spent time coding with AI, you already know the punchline: Same model, prompt. Totally different outcomes. 🧠 Full article: hyperdev.substack.com/p/beyond-the...

Dinner. Fresh noodles and soup base from Sun Noodles, sold by Mitsuwa marketplace. The miso base is better than the tonkotsu. Delicious. We added the other stuff.

The weed growing up under our house goat makes it seem it is eating.

Post rally calm (parade moving down broadway)

Start of the match. NYC May Day protest in Foley Square.

May Day NYC Foley Square March.

PHILADELPHIA, PA #MayDay

I wore my #bluesky T-shirt for the occasion. “Mundus Sine Caesaribus”

One of the great things about a protest is you really get a sense of the people supporting the cause. This crowd is relaxed, mixed, creative, vocal but kind (helping up people who trip etc). The tiny counter protest is just laughed at. My kind of people.

Great turnout in Foley Square NYC!

This pear tree looking very nice this year.

Here’s a nice amaryllis for you.

Great view tonight from the Sunset bench.

NYC food tip - in the Grand Central Terminal are and want a quick bite? Visit Katagiri on 41st between lex and park on the south side. It’s a Japanese grocery that also sells Onigiri (seasoned rice balls wrapped around a protein of some sort) and chirashi bowls. High quality and inexpensive!

I’m sympathetic to suffering, but seriously - FAFO?!

Taking over Madison Ave.

Crazy crowd!

So I started a substack! One of my recent passions, agentic coding, is really taking off and I've been drinking to kool-aid. Follow my journey here: hyperdev.substack.com

Purple irises on their way

Felt this was an appropriate meme.

One of the coolest streets in Manhattan - Doyers. Never been here this late and quiet!

After not having seriously coded in over 2 decades, I generated over 40k lines of code in a week or so. This is what I learned: www.linkedin.com/feed/update/...

Home made natto, Tokyo style. Yes it was delicious.

Love seeing the snowdrops come up.
