I think if anything, this is the lesson we need to learn, even if it bothers those of us who deal with disinformation. Narratives are a thing to be shaped, and if that means having a loose relationship with the truth, so be it. I don't like it, but that's the world and media environment we live in.

Today is a really good time for this reminder: Fighting fascism is exhausting, at best. A core tenet of fascism is making life miserable for nonfascsists. It is ok but also IMPERATIVE that you take the time to do something that brings you joy. It’s not selfish. It is self-preservation.
