Our "centrist" overlords are always lecturing liberals that they need to listen to, and engage with, conservatives. And yet for some reason conservatives never get the same lecture.

Have we finally reached the point where @nytimes.com will run a series of articles and editorials about Trump's age and capacity as president? Or is that only reserved for democrats?

This is my favorite thing today.

Advertising on the Subreddit for the show Entourage is on point.

On July 4th, every Trump voter should be allowed to disavow their vote without being mocked or responded to with "leopards eating faces" retorts or any other repercussions. Clean slate, one day only. Independence Day.

Target stock April 29, 2024: $163.73. Target stock April 29, 2025: $96.91. Target contribution to Trump inauguration: $1 million.

When (if) the Democrats are in control again, I don't want to hear them talk about unity or bipartisanship or healing as a nation. I want to hear just one word: revenge.

Attention @mudede.bsky.social: To the one on the flamboyant tip/I'll just toss that ham in the frying pan/Like Spam, get done when I come and slam/Damn, I feel like the Son of Sam.

This thread is my favorite thing today.

Remember all those NYT and WaPo articles/op-eds hand-wringing over Biden being too old while the economy was doing fine? Has anyone heard a peep from them about Trump's age these past few weeks? Asking for my fucking country.

The worst fucking situation with the worst fucking people in charge of the Democratic Party.

I don't have any answers. This is an absolute shit show and we'll just have to deal with it. Hopefully we can survive it. What I *can* say is you're fucking awesome. Keep kicking ass as a human being. Being a good person matters a lot these days.

Pro tip: Don’t look at the news until at least noon. And even then, don’t look at it while eating.

Happy Friday. Enjoy the weekend.

Here’s an idea: What if we stopped electing total fucking idiots to represent us in the government? Just asking questions here.

"Catbath."

Can we all agree that we shouldn’t trust or even listen to a billionaire again? We are the last thing they think about, if they even think about us at all. Which they don’t.

I'm not currently ready to root for the Philadelphia fucking Eagles. And yet here I am.

A sequel to a movie most people hated is now the only movie in theaters for the next four years.

There may be actual security reasons for the TikTok ban, but I feel like the damage to the First Amendment will be even worse in the long run.

Very few of our current billionaires will be remembered by history. And if they are, they will be a cautionary tale for future generations living in a wasteland. Enjoy your wealth and influence now, you assholes. Your life is going to be meaningless. Congrats.

Bari Weiss' fake journalism company has a big scoop that fussy billionaire manbabies have full diapers

The left in America wants absolute perfection from its elected leaders. The right in America ignores flaws in their elected leaders as long as the left is embarrassed — even if it makes their lives more difficult. We're not playing the same game.

We just have to get through this decade of absolute idiots having power and we'll be golden, right? Right? RIGHT?!?!?!?

We really need alternative news media back. Blogs and newsletters are great, but I'm talking about weekly newspapers free in bars and coffee shops. New journalists for a new audience that doesn't want to just stare at their phones all the time.

As a Seahawks fan I should be mad about the Rams advancing in the playoffs. As a human being, I'm truly happy. And Los Angeles needs all the happiness it can get right now.

There’s going to be a lot of rich people and probably some people close to you who are going to try and walk back their political opinions in a couple years. Don’t let them.

Hopefully we’re reaching the point where people are realizing billionaires, and not their neighbors, are the actual problem in this country.

It's Wednesday. We're going to make it.

If we can thank the obscenely wealthy for anything it’s how they’re completely exposing themselves at the moment. The love and acceptance they’re craving is getting more out of reach every day.

Social media excels at amplifying the dumbest people. And yes, I counting myself as one of those people being amplified.

Currently writing one of the greatest screenplays in the world.

Let's all roll into the weekend.

The dumbest fucking reality with the dumbest fucking people in charge.

Great work this week. Hopefully you have some time to relax this weekend. You've definitely earned it.

It’s been a rough stretch. But you remain awesome, and you’re going to kick total fucking ass in 2025.

There are what, 3,000 billionaires? On a planet with roughly 8 billion people? Good luck you selfish fuckers.

I feel like Get Ready is a vastly underrated New Order record.

If we can't actually tax billionaires like they should be taxed, we should at least humiliate them every chance we can get.

Holidays always make for a weird work week. And yet you still kicked complete ass. Nice job, my friend.

Tonight my daughter (age 16) told me she would never, ever, no matter what vote for a Republican. This is probably my proudest moment as a parent.

Tomorrow is Friday. We made it.
