πŸš€ Dive into Parca, the open-source Continuous Profiling tool that helps you optimize your application's performance. πŸš€ Understand runtime costs for CPU, memory, disk, and network. Let’s get started! @rawkode.dev

We've been working hard to enhance our continuous profiling for GPUs. Learn about more metrics (like PCIe throughput) and the upcoming On-GPU profiles. If you are attending ai.engineer, come and stop by our booth S18 to discuss all of these features! www.polarsignals.com/blog/posts/2...

How much longer will clickhouse tolerate observability businesses building on it and compete with them? Clock is ticking I would say πŸ˜‰ clickhouse.com/blog/clickst...

This is such a powerful feature! Understand not just the cumulative CPU time, but also the order of execution of your code!

We recently decided that we want to blog more about the process of how we research, what we find, and how we get to the final products we build at Polar Signals. Check out Tommy's post on researching PGO & Sampling profiling data. More research needed, but interesting finds so far!

If you're interested in how we blog at Polar Signals, the technologies that back it, and how we recently improved it, check out this blog post!

Do I know anyone with a 3D printer in Berlin that could print a few things in black PLA? 8 prints in total, super happy to pay for the material and electricity, of course! They're relatively small prints (cases for split keyboards).

Does anyone have a recommendation for an immigration attorney for someone from the US getting a work visa in Spain, and is hitting some processing delays they don't understand?

πŸ‘€

I recently fell into a pretty deep rabbit hole of building low-profile custom split keyboards. My next build is going to be the "Urchin." The first time, I ordered a PCB directly from JLCPCB, and now I'm itching to design PCBs myself. Help. github.com/duckyb/urchin

Excited to release this! It's so cool to have the link to profiling data directly on the pull request!

So apparently, depending on the type of event that triggers a GitHub action, the `GITHUB_SHA` environment variable may not be the tip of your pull request πŸ™ƒ 1.5 hours of my life that I'll never get back ...

Super excited to finally bring this awesome feature to the async Rust ecosystem!

I just made two Googlers aware of each other's work, and that made my day haha

We're updating our pricing to make it more predictable and transparent for customers!

Has anyone tried subframe.com and has opinions vs v0.dev? Looks pretty awesome!

Last day of #KubeCon! Come over to our booth to check out our latest GPU profiling demo and get some cool 🧊Polar Signals SWAG!

Good morning #KubeCon! We will be back at our booth S480! Learn about continuous profiling for CPUs, GPUs, and memory! Time to discover the Performance Engineer in you!

I blogged about our DST journey with @s2.dev s2.dev/blog/dst

Visit us at our #KubeCon booth S480 and discover the Performance Engineer in you! Learn all about continuous profiling for CPU and memory, and see a live demo for continuous profiling for GPUs!

I love it when we solve our own problems with our product at Polar Signals! Just this morning, pre-kubecon, @thorfour.dev did so once again! 😎

Incredibly proud of @metalmatze.de and team for launching this! Speed of training models and latency of inference for AI are major competitive advantages. This is going to be huge for AI companies!

Off to @rejekts.io where I’ll be giving a talk on high-performance and low-latency patterns on Kubernetes together with @jimmy.zelinskie.com at 2pm! See you there! cfp.cloud-native.rejekts.io/cloud-native...

I'm super excited to be here in London for #KubeCon!! On Sunday at 2PM, I'll be presenting with @brancz.com at @rejekts.io! Throughout the rest of the week, come chat me up at booth N632!!

Awesome work from the folks at Canonical on testing the effect of upping the compiler optimization level by default across all packages. In a world where efficiency is increasingly important, this type of work is incredibly important. Nice job, Canonical!

So we have vibe coding now, but what does vibe observability look like? (Wrong answers only.)

We at Polar Signals are big fans of the engineering culture at @turbopuffer.bsky.social, so we couldn't be more honored that they have chosen Polar Signals for their continuous profiling needs! Check out how they discovered a particularly latency-impacting bug with ease using Polar Signals Cloud.

A pretty unique feature, and a must have if you are dealing with high-performance workloads!

Anyone have office space to spare for Monday in London pre-KubeCon?

New keyboard got an upgrade 😎 (Polar Signals key caps)

Exiting vim with Polar Signals style now. 🧊

New keeb πŸ™Œ (Wireless lily58 pro, kiiboom matcha latte v2 switches, and blank DSA keycaps)

Very impressed with Gemma3, very high quality and I can run it at quite good tokens/s speed on my m1max MacBook Pro! Curious to see how it performs with coding.

Actual protoc error output: > protoc is too dumb to figure out when two paths (e.g. absolute and relative) are equivalent (it's harder than you think). 🀣

@opentelemetry.io has added support for profiling!
