A year ago I wasn’t sure I’d get here again. Bib pickup for Saturday’s @21KdeMontréal 5k complete. Help me reach my stretch goal of raising $1000 for cancer research – donate at raceroster.com/events/2025/...

Testing out @VoteCompass before tonight's debate ... no big surprise ;-) Try it for yourself! #cdnpoli share.votecompass.com/pyqlc42nclHC...

And tonight’s debate is on early ⏰ So less multitasking with devices in both cases 😎

That’s de Adder 's Take: buff.ly/YENJWge

I didn’t have getting weepy watching Cory Booker hold the floor for 25+ hours on my 2025 bingo card. This timeline definitely has some unexpected twists.

Still trying to figure out who forget to check the Habs home game schedule when choosing the dates for the election debates – and the French debate no less 🤦🏻‍♀️

I don’t always agree with my baby brother, but he weaves a readable and interesting argument …

Unexpected sunshine between last night’s snow and tomorrow’s freezing rain means I ran outside for the first time this spring!

Waking up to this news … thx @keithdunn.bsky.social for the yeoman service that lets us all follow #BM100! Until next year …

To stay up and see if the fun run happens? Or sleep? #bm100

If I have this right, that leaves Tomo, John and Seb on loop 3? #bm100

C’est l’année des français! #bm100

And what remains are aspirations of fun runs … #bm100

This is a brutal year … waiting to hear post race stories of course changes and conditions #BM100

Oooh, adding to my reading list. #BM100

13 #bm100 hours can age you like 31 years.

twelve hours in, lots of carnage already #bm100

And then there were 9. Calling it a night … and wondering what I’ll wake up to #BM109

‘I’m Barkley OK’ is my new answer to all questions about how I feel after treatment.

30% of the field have voluntarily dropped and made their way back to the gate before a single cutoff has been hit. So far. Barring a group of latecomers, this could be the harshest first loop that we have records for. Like, going back to the 1980s 3 loop years. Certainly of the modern era. #bm100

Someone has questions about these times this year … #BM100 #kittykontent

Seeing what I missed while on my run … I did hills because it felt like the right thing to do 🏃🏻‍♀️#bm100

Quick interloopal turnarounds and we have our first two runners on Loop 2. One runner described the course as “on the verge of perfection; there is no margin for error.” #BM100

A nondescript guy with a cool accent has made it through the Fire Tower, as has Japanese laz. #BM100

The first runner has returned to camp on quitters road and faced the bugler. (He was not the human sacrifice.) #BM100

Lots of spectators hanging out at the fire tower, for no reason so far - no runners have come through. #BM100

Someone has quit by now. We don’t know who, we don’t know where, we don’t know why. But for sure someone has quit. We’ll find out who/when/why when they get back to camp. #BM100

I’m rebuilding my #BM100 list from the bad place over here. You’re welcome to follow, it’s very much a WIP 🚧 bsky.app/profile/did:...

My #bm100 spreadsheet has gained a tab for 2025! I remind you again that this is NOT a primary source. Just gathering online information into one place. docs.google.com/spreadsheets...

It’s that time of year #bm100

Some things resonate more deeply in a Québécois context - Prime Minister @mark-carney.bsky.social’s assertion we are « maîtres chez nous » echoes Jean Lesage and the Quiet Revolution. It is both a statement of confidence & an acknowledgement of the importance of identity within the Canadian mosaic.

5 years ago today, I wrote this "Shut it down" column, published the next day on the front page of The Globe and Mail. It remains the most impactful and most read piece I've ever written. #COVID19 consumed my life for the next few years. www.theglobeandmail.com/canada/artic... #PandemicJournalism

It was a full house at Club Soda for the Mark Carney rally last night … and Mélanie Joly was in her element, glad to be home for the night 😀
