F1 has today released new and colourised footage of the first race back in 1950 at Silverstone to mark #F175. The footage isn't yet on their YouTube channel but suspect it will be later today.

Excellent thread. For my last book, 'The Magic of an Irish Rainforest', I visited pieces of this potentially exquisite habitat across the island of Ireland, and invariably saw the same thing: slow death by overgrazing + invasive plants. As I've seen with my own place, it's SO easy to reverse this.
