Russia was kicked out of the G8 in March 2014 exactly BECAUSE it launched its war in Ukraine by invading and forcibly annexing Crimea.

This is the way

Good

‘Data protection’ is a misleading phrase b/c it leads people to believe it’s about protecting data from people, when really it’s about protecting people from each other. It’s only about the data as far as the data is about the people.

Hello! I have a happy favour to ask. Last year, I had a US intern working with us and she now is looking for help that you- good reader of this account- could give. (She needs academic survey participants) Check out her flyer below, click the link, and please RT docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F...

I really enjoyed @cmdr-hadfield.bsky.social show yesterday in Dublin. A very engaging talk ranging from his own career, to space travel, and life lessons in general. When asked "is there intelligent life out there?" His reply "As a Canadian looking south.." brought a lot of laughs :) :)

This was bound to happen. Scraping a journalists’ online presence is probably trivial whatever tool they are using. I haven’t followed these cases too bc closely. Is this the first journalist who goes through something this extreme?

Got an awesome surprise Father’s Day present to see Chris Hadfield live

This sort of prejudice against Irish is exhausting from The Economist. It's not the first time. The Irish language is no more or less "unfathomable" than French, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, Portuguese etc. All languages are "fathomable" when you take the effort to learn them. Cc @shashj.bsky.social

It's a real problem that as an English-speaking nation we get most of our ideas from the US and the UK because they haven't been sending their best recently

Teen Vogue continues to be a goddamn treasure and I will fight anyone who says otherwise.

The Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project reports today that Telegram's technical backbone is managed by a Russian network engineer with significant business ties to the FSB, Russia's counterpart to the FBI.

Were they guilty of taking the p*ss?? :) :)

Billionaires make bad politicians. Musk and Trump think business smarts translate to government, but politics isn’t about winning at all costs. It’s compromise, not control. And history shows: when entrepreneurs enter politics, chaos usually follows. Full story by ‘Slicker’ in the latest issue.

Its Friday. Its the 13th of the month. Go ahead and push that project or code into production. What could go wrong ???
