As much as I love poking fun at Trump with the taco memes, let's not forget that he's shredding our Constitution and not lettuce.

Is there any difference between what Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf (aka "Baghdad Bob", he of the 2003 Iraqi Invasion fame) was spitting out and the words that come out of Karoline Leavitt's mouth on a daily basis? Both are so beyond the realm of believability.

The fundamental flaw of broken authoritarian narcissists (the core of the right-wing coalition) is that they view empathy as a finite resource, such that, if you extend it to one group, you can't extend it to another. They see all of life through a lens of scarcity, competition, & selfishness.

I honestly should be posting less about Trump. It's just that the stupid bloated gasbag says or does something putrid on a daily basis that it needs to be highlighted regularly so we all know what's happening. What I really want to do is post pictures of sunsets and cool astronomy shit.

Every year on Memorial Day, I share this video of French caretakers who take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub them into the letters to give them the gold coloring. They do this for all 9,386 US soldiers who died. France also gave us this land as American soil.
