Family, it has been a really bad few months of sales for trans authors. I know there are a lot of reasons for this (the economy is in the toilet, everything costs more, Amazon boycotts, etc), but trans stories still deserve to be read, and trans authors still deserve to be supported.

I don't see it being reported much, but just know that The SAVE Act would also make it impossible for the vast majority of trans people in this country to vote. If voting requires a birth certificate or passport with one's legal name (not their birth name), most trans folks can't vote.

As Bluesky has grown, I've seen a lot of backsliding on alt text. Please try to be considerate to others and include alt text with all of your images. It helps everyone. Indeed, in the "accessibility" setting in Bluesky you can set it to make sure you add alt text, which is a useful thing to do.

genuinely insane comic and ttrpg rates for massive corporations are as bad as they are, but then novel covers for Disney, Marvel and Wizards are like 3-5k. Same amount of work goes into both, it's literally just industry inertia keeping comic and game rates so low
