Remember the little guy in this video? He got so friendly, we would have brought him in if we weren't already overflowing with cats in our humble home. Not that he didn't try. Well, he's been caught, neutered, dewormed, and homed where we get to visit him. Micro finally gets to be a housecat!

Had a techy win at work yesterday, which is good because I failed to sleep and am going to be pretty cloudy today. On the plus side, today is also going to be cloudy today, and the crazy heatwave is officially over. Also, you are the Universe experiencing itself in as many ways as possible.

Yeah, sun is still trying to come up and the temperature is already 81°F (27C) with the humidity snapping at it's heels at 78% I like soup when it's food, but not when it's the air. 😀 I've a feeling most of my activities will be inside today, though I have a few things to do out there.

Adoption update: The office door is open. Floofy is choosing to stay in the office for now. Flower spent most of the day in there with her and Dorito, because he likes the kitten kibble. Flower and Floofy are friendly/indifferent, so he has been a good ambassador. 1/3 🧵

If you care about The Card Bard, you likely noticed I'm behind. I WAS cranking them out weekly. Mostly, that cadence was possible due to maniacally getting ahead by several weeks. But now I've got like 3-1/2 songs in the works from readings but not finished. I may be lagging, but I'm not stopping.
