Today I saw something I'd never seen before while hiking with doggo. A ruckus was happening in the trees above me, a large adult pileated woodpecker was trying to kill a squirrel. Until today, I had no idea squirrels will eat baby birds or eggs. No pics so here's one of doggo in the stream today.
