I've heard some completely fair criticisms of Kat Abughazaleh but if you're a Democrat who isn't backing her you really need to be asking your party why the fuck somebody more qualified isn't running a campaign like Kat's.

“Forget about intelligence” is a pretty good mantra for this administration

I personally think we'd be way better off if Harris were president right now but we should be focused on a united opposition to an illegal and immoral war rather than shaming people for who they did or didn't vote for

Democrats are gonna let Rand fucking Paul beat them to the anti-war position, aren't they?

Anybody know why this keeps happening to me when I try to post a pic? I uninstalled and reinstalled my app and it's still doing this like 50% of the time

Heroes: The CTA bus drivers who see you running to a bus stop and make a special stop to pick you up in the middle of the block. (If traffic conditions permit.)

Remember when Musk interjected himself into the Wisconsin supreme court election and then his candidate got smoked? And THEN he suddenly took a step back from politicking? You know what to do, New Yorkers.

I've seen a few posts asking how Trump could ignore JD, Tulsi and Hegseth. You all realize that if Trump intended to listen to his advisors he would have picked knowledgeable ones instead of incompetent toadies, right?

I also think any nation that wants to make the world a safer place by denying other nations nuclear weapons should destroy their own nukes first.

You know what, this DID make me feel a little better

It's like Morgan is coming to your town to remind you who all the shitty people are and charging you to see them. Gross pass

On the bright side, I guess we can take a break from the phrase "in these unprecedented times" since bombing a country in the middle east over an imaginary weapons program is precedented as fuck

Fuuuuuuuuck I can't wait to go back to Düsseldorf and drink all the Altbier (hopefully this November for Latzenbiertag)

'Terry meets Julie, Waterloo station, every Friday night' Happy birthday Ray Davies who turns 81 today

Kudos to Jesse Taylor at DLG Law Group who just called to see if I'm having any pain after my accident. He couldn't tell me how he got my info but he did reach out to me before State Farm did so there's that.

Anybody get any unusual messages on Signal lately?

Can't wait for Chuck @schumer.senate.gov's response... on Bluesky. "They're bombing Iran. You can't afford a bath bomb because avocados cost 50 cents more than they did a year ago."

"I asked ChatGPT." Yeah, well I asked the Red Hot Chili Peppers' drug dealer and he said "wow! look at that turtle go, bro."

No but you don’t understand how edgy this was for a Christian band in the 90s open.spotify.com/track/0wcIis...

You know that thing where you're hungry but also stressed so not hungry? Yeah, that.

When I first read this I thought by "opportunity" they meant for tech bros to get right and I was like YES, YES and then kept reading and was like NO, NO

Hey so State Farm STILL hasn't sent out a tow truck or even gotten one in contact with us over FIVE hours later so if anybody has a different insurance company they'd recommend I'm all ears as I will be switching carriers ASAP

👀👀👀

Me at 12:30: I really don't feel like driving 2+ hours to my aunt's place just to spend two hours at a birthday party and then turn around and drive 2+ hours home. Me now, after getting clipped by a pickup truck and waiting an hour for a tow truck: touché, universe. Touché.

Continuing the Led Zeppelin doc this morning and the part where they open their first show ever with Communication Breakdown is HILARIOUS. People literally covering their ears and looking around like what the fuck is this???

I will continue to post about cool music

Dr. Strangelove hits way too fucking close to home these days. If I had to choose berween General Ripper and RFK Jr. or between General Turgidson and Hegseth, I'm not sure whether I'd prefer the movie or reality.

It's been almost 20 years since I moved from Bridgeport to Beverly but just seeing that graphic has me craving a chicken parm with garlic bread from Punky's
