Trump is so thin skinned, he can't let go of the slightest criticism. He thinks he projects strength, but his insecurity and weakness are constantly on full display. So he resorts to petty insults. He's a small, pathetic man. #springsteen

I draw a lot of parallels between current events and post Reconstruction America. Just substitute immigrants for ex-slaves. It's sad how all that's old becomes new again. How quickly we forget.

MAGA neglected to tell folks that in order to make America great again, they first had to destroy it.

Thank you to the House for passing a bill to rename the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America. Way to tackle our country's most pressing needs!

Has DOGE claimed dumping fighter jets into the Red Sea as a cost savings yet? Asking for a friend.

What if, instead of Canada becoming the 51st state, the US became the 11th province? Just kidding, not kidding.

Geez. I know Trump thinks the 1950's was the pinnacle of America because it's his childhood reference, but Alcatraz was already a decaying logistical nightmare by that point. I'm surprised he doesn't offer to house deportees in one of his bankrupt casinos and make money on the grift.

So are American companies poised to take over shares created in the US marketplace by the tariff chaos? Oh wait, they're not? You mean the infrastructure to create all the shoes and textiles from China is not ready to go? You mean it's not just pencils and dolls we'll do without? Oh well.

We call them a pair of pants, but seriously, who out there (one legged people?) is wearing a pant?

Oh, how the times have changed. This speaks volumes. Once peace was the goal. Now, I don't know anymore.

Businesses already list out sales tax as a separate line item on bills and receipts. Tariffs should not be any different. People should understand the full impact to their budgets and spending. Knowledge is power. Beware those who would obfuscate the facts.

Glad to know the president is so concerned about honoring someone who never actually set foot in the USA. Imagine if Columbus did arrive today, though. He might get sent to a prison in El Salvador. Just sayin'.

The government is not a business, and it should not be treated as such. It is more akin to a non-profit that watches out for its people in troubled times of need because it serves the people and not just what is convenient.

So, the Defense Secretary is going after the folks who leaked the fact that HE leaked classified info. Yeah, makes total sense.

The administration says they can't have Abrego Garcia returned from the El Salvador prison. But we're paying El Salvador $20k/ yr for each person we send to imprison. Pretty sure if we just stop paying, we could get him back. Just sayin'...

Knowledge is power. Willfull refusal of knowledge is ignorance.

To be clear. Antisemitism is unacceptable. Muslim hate is unacceptable. Xenophobia is unacceptable. Anti LGBTQ is unacceptable. All people deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. Regardless of race, creed, culture, or religion.

Guess we can start the clock on Jerome Powell getting replaced as Fed chair after saying tariffs will lead to higher inflation.

Trump is literally going after Maine for TWO transgender athletes statewide. But anything to distract from the economic turmoil and incompetence, I suppose.

Someone with a Russian IP address used a DOGE account to attempt to login to the NLRB computer system.

Took me a long time to figure this one out...

Diversity is not a sickness. Equity is not a sickness. Inclusion is not a sickness Blind allegiance and refusal to debate our differences, however, is.

To falsely imprison someone and then feign helplessness is unconscionable.

So, the EU is evaluating possible trade deals with China instead of renegotiating deals with the US. Maybe someone overplayed his hand?

Did the US ever propose reverse tariffs for countries where the US actually has a trade surplus (e.g. tariffs on US exports to that country). You know, to keep it fair for other nations, too. That's how this works, right?

This tariff staredown between the US and China is like the worst auction bidding war I've ever seen.

First, the tariffs are to eliminate income tax. Then, they're paused because they're just a tool to get other countries to negotiate on trade. So, which is it, because it can't be both?

How much efforts have been wasted at companies globally trying to read the team leaves on tariffs and game plan for supply chain contingencies? Strong effective leadership should smooth rough waters and not sow chaos.

"Yes, as through this world I've wandered I've seen lots of funny men Some will rob you with a six gun And some with a fountain pen" - Woody Guthrie, "Pretty Boy Floyd"

So, by definition, those who don't support diversity support uniformity. Those who don't support equity support inequity. Those who don't support inclusion support exclusion. So, opponents of DEI are for uniformity, inequity, and exclusion. Conform or be cast aside, I suppose.

This doesn't get talked about enough. History will not be kind to this who enabled current events and sanewashed an ill man. www.msn.com/en-us/news/o...

So what's more likely? Countries just stop trading with the US, or they to find ways to mask the country of origin on goods to bypass the highest tariff rates?

True isolationist policies lead to isolationism, and the USA will be cut off from the most innovative products developed abroad, especially in a time when R&D is being gutted, the end result being that the USA falls behind both technologically and economically.

The steep tariffs being thrown around are fatally flawed. Other countries will band together and trade freely amongst themselves to provide the goods normally provided by the USA, opening opportunities in other countries to take over market shares ceded by the USA adopting prohibitive tariffs.
