I just watched "The Mauritanian." It was a bit hard to watch for several reasons. It reminded me of what the W administration authorized. Having gone through military interrogator school, I was offended at the time. I am appalled today. I never dreamed my country would be worse than that.

I see that Canada is considering re-aligning their auto safety standards with the EU and others such as South Korea. Can you imagine what that would do to the US auto industry? Our cars do not meet the safety standards of these countries. No more integration of manufacturing and export to Canada

Interesting that when I do a google search for the China ban on importing Boeing aircraft the major news outlets like WSJ, WaPo, NYT, and LATimes do not even show up. I went to world news on the NYT and still nothing. Just like the cancellation of any beef purchase from the US by China.
