One of the cool things about my local shelter is that they let you take dogs out for the day, so they can have a break from the kennel. I took Vegeta out today. He’s been there for more than three months. He’s a great dog, chill and gentle. Available for adoption at the Placer Animal Services.

Shelter Monday: I had to read his name twice to be sure, but yes, this is “Skippy Crunchy Peanut Butter”. Named after that time he ate the country’s reserves of peanut butter by himself. He’s very sweet with new people, I’m pretty sure he would have shared that peanut butter if anyone asked.
