Surely at some point constantly bombing the fuck out of women and gay Muslims is going to help liberate them from their authoritarian leaders

do we just start spreading the rumour that ICE agents cover their faces because they all look gross? I feel like these dudes are the type to get mad if people insinuate they're not all Fuckable Alpha Males

I am once again posting to inform you that density and nature CAN co-exist.

Election day for Osgoode ward. I’ve met all 11 candidates over the last month and I’d be happy to be represented by half of them. We voted Skalski in the early voting, she promoted community infrastructure more than any other candidate.

Amazing to see @strongtowns.org cover our push for bus lanes on Bank Street. We are making progress! @strongtownsottawa.bsky.social www.strongtowns.org/journal/2025...

Canadas Nation building should be grounded in building the Great Solar Fields of the Prairies coupled with big investments in transmission corridors and regional solar grids. Not more pipeline expansion.

We need both. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

The second component of this bill, Carney says, enables the federal government to "identify and expedite nation-building projects." Two very big, separate topics in one bill. Two massive pieces of legislation in one week. This is gonna be a hard government to keep on top of (and hold accountable)

Take a moment to acknowledge the 81st anniversary of D-Day. Here’s some footage of my Grandfather’s regiment (North Shore New Brunswick) landing on Juno Beach. My avatar is when he went back to Juno Beach in 2006. 🇨🇦 #DDay81

The Royal Family

People have been sending me messages asking me to run for the leadership of the NDP. I have served 21 years in Parliament. It was a great honour. But our nation is facing unprecedented threat. My focus is Canada and building resistance to the rise of anti-democratic/fascist forces. #elbowsup

The Hollinger Mine machine shop, Timmins. My grandfather Charlie Angus is standing at the lathe. I never knew him (he died on the job). But when I went door knocking with constituents I met folks who knew him. They say you couldn't beat him in a political argument. He was hard core union.

Our democracy distorting first-past-the-post system fuels the polarisation driving separatist movements. @mark-carney.bsky.social, you can end this and bring in proportional representation—uniting Canadians with a truly representative democracy. What are we waiting for? #cdnpoli

the Sports Interaction ad where the guy is cheering for every team is about as sad as it gets

Free OC Transpo weekend so we rode the O-Train for the first time and had the best gelato on the planet. Nice little Saturday in Ottawa, Canada.
