Seeing the fractal patterns of plants (even on a screen) shifts our brain activity from fight or flight to rest & digest due to ancient foraging pathways that are still very active in modern humans. @southlondongirl.bsky.social Tonight’s dinner is lamb cutlets with a bulgar & herb salad, courtesy of Nigella. Should be lamb loin but I balked at the cost! I’ve made raita, even though it wasn’t called for!

Oh good. I've left my bloody phone in Suffolk! Thanks so much, menopausal brain. On the plus side, for the first time in ages I had "real" paper tickets as the GWR app couldn't cope with the many stages of the journey. Just as well!

Made some fluffy hummus at lunchtime. Scavenged some chicken breast from the freezer & gave it some Shawarma spicing , just sliced & pan charred. Bulgur wheat with mint. Radish , cucumber , pickled red onions , pickled pepper. Sprinkling of feta & dukka. Zero fat yog & mint.
