Yuck Elon, and Yuck Twitter Gold 🤮 It costs around 12K a year…. What a horrible waste of money, Instead of doing that, we are giving $1000 to a different charity each month this year. Starting with Doctors Without Borders!

I feel bad for the people managing the Paris Climate Accords, because trying to get the USA to play ball in international politics is like inviting Dr. Jekyll to a dinner party, except instead of changing with chemicals or whatever, he changes every 5-10 minutes, seemingly at random.

We are SO excited to finally announce this!!!💙Knights of Guinevere is an indie animated, sci-fi psychological thriller and our FIRST 2D animated show. Pilot episode set to come out late this year (hopefully) Created by @danaterrace.bsky.social @johnbaileyowen.bsky.social @zach2themax.bsky.social

Mexico's President Claudia Sheinbaum claps back at Trump using a map from 1607 to say that parts of the United States should be renamed 'Mexican America' (voice translated with AI)

The Guardian view on content moderation: Meta did far too little. Now it wants to do even less | Editorial

Some firefighters battling the Palisades fire in LA are reporting that hydrants are coming up dry. Southern California has gotten approximately .1 inches of rain since this past May. We need urgent climate action now. www.latimes.com/california/s...

My view of downtown LA right now. Never seen anything like this. Can’t even begin to process the scale of the devastation here.

I have lost control of the situation.

yup

- Extreme fire conditions will continue for more than 3.1 million people across Southern California - The largest blaze — known as the Palisades Fire — roared across almost 3,000 acres - Widespread and damaging gusts are expected to worsen, hampering efforts to contain the flames

everything is Dead Internet now

Good morning, Bluesky and to these adorable Red Pandas…

As someone who worked on Birdwatch/Community notes at Twitter, I can tell you that the system was NEVER designed to work on it's own. It is is designed to work alongside fact checking systems. The eshitification of the Meta continues www.nbcnews.com/tech/social-...

The worrying thing about Musk and Trump is that it's very hard to tell when they're being serious, when they're joking around, and when they're unironically saying stupid stuff. I feel like people like them should be legally required to add tone indicators after every statement they make.

Been here for nearly a month, now. Deleted my old The-Artist-Formerly-Known-As-Twitter account, and I don't regret it in the slightest. I should probably post more, but sometimes I just don't know how to put my thoughts into words. Seems I am as much of an introvert online as I am in real life.

Seen lots of posts here about how Trump's cabinet is the dumbest cabinet in history. It's also probably going to be the most chaotic cabinet. His first cabinet had a turnover rate of around 92%, and I fully expect his second cabinet to have a higher turnover rate.

Need something for my profile, so here's a selection of some of my finest reaction images, may you use them well.
