I really don't want Palantir to have access to my NHS data

When you look at the list of institutions they want to defund: libraries, museums, the Smithsonian, public schools, PBS, NPR, archives, you can clearly see that the real threat to an authoritarian regime is an informed and educated public

words I never imagined writing in my lifetime..... General Sir Richard Shirreff, the former Nato deputy supreme allied commander in Europe, has told Times Radio: "I think we have to assume, after the events of the last 10 days, that we cannot in any way count on America as an ally"

Pass it on. #StandWithUkraine

Confused why anyone would help alleged sex trafficking rapists. Coldwarsteve always on point ❤️

Powerful. Tomorrow’s front page of the most influential weekly publication in Germany. “BETRAYED. First Zelensky, Soon Us? The radical departure of the US from its allies.”

With the EU on this too. Increasingly scary slippery slope into cartoonish supervillain tech bros ruling the world 💔

The lack of personal consequences to the architects of Brexit is depressing

Opaque funding should be a barrier to being platformed

A lovely project with just a few days left to meet their crowdfunder goal

Brings it all back so clearly

Yes

A scary and potentially slippery slope. Really hope the government take action to close the loopholes 🙏

Why have the Guardian & Observer's journalists voted overwhelming to go on strike? I've attempted to summarise our concerns, the reports so far & why a Scott Trust board meeting tomorrow is a pivotal moment for press freedom & the future of journalism. open.substack.com/pub/broligar...

I bet that you'd look good in my bookstore, I don't know if you're looking for a romance I don't know what you're looking for. I said, I bet that you look good in my bookstore, looking for a book like I Robot, or 1984. Or 1984.

This piece by BBC health correspondent Nick Triggle on the replacement of NHS doctors with PAs is disappointingly misleading through omission of key context & reliance on those busy, yet always conveniently anonymous, 'NHS senior sources'. 1/n www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Fully with AOC on this. It is disgusting

I've been thinking about this poem by Langston Hughes recently and although it was published in 1931, it remains relevant as ever. #books #reading #booksky #poetry

I feel like this was the greatest celebrity post of all time because you initially want to make fun of it because we’re all irony poisoned jerks but the sheer scale of human compassion overwhelms it and you end up going yes Vincent I also want to help a pig see the stars for the first time

Baxter is iconic (but glad he lives with Russ)

❤️ Michael Sheen - such a decent guy

Important context here: ● over half of farms are less than 49 acres (20 hectares) ● "a big farm" is 217 acres. Now let's see who's angry: ● Clarkson farm is 1,000 acres ● Lloyd Webber farms 4,000 acres ● Viscount Rothermere (Mail owner) 4,700 acres ● Dyson owns 36,000 acres

Word of this morning is ‘procaffeinate’: to put everything on hold until you’ve had sufficient amounts of coffee.

I really hoped a new government have a more robust plan

There is overwhelming evidence that the policies & funding of NHS England & GMC are set on replacing Doctors with PAs When stating PAs have been integral to the NHS for 20years they are lying 2015 there were just 15 PAs in General Practice only 109 in hospitals I don’t understand the reasons
