If you’re zip-tying grandmas protesting losing health care maybe you’re not the good guys in the story?

I think that the outcome in the NY Mayoral race and the Wisconsin Supreme Court race both show that people power CAN beat the political money machine. That should give us all hope, and the motivation to work for the government we want.

The answer is either yes or no. And we all know which of those “I dont recall” is.

Federal and local law enforcement wearing masks is just plain unamerican. It’s a cowards move, and shows the fact that the kinds of deportations happening and the methods are, shameful and unpopular. adamkinzinger.substack.com/p/why-are-fe...

Ted Cruz just said Mr. Abrego has been charged with Human Trafficking. Cruz proclaims "I read every word of that indictment!" Apparently not, because Abrego was not charged with human trafficking. I hope this comes up in a motion to dismiss the charges.

Budzinski: Families making over $700,000 a year will see a boost of $12,000 almost entirely from tax cuts. Shockingly, households making $23,000 a year or less are set to lose about $1600 a year, mostly due to deep cuts to Medicaid and food assistance

Starting World War 3 because no one came to your birthday party is the same as starting WWII because you flunked art school.

They were supposed to be deporting “gang members” and “criminals.” So far, they have kidnapped people working their day jobs and folks lawfully showing up for their immigration court appearances… It was always a lie.

In 4 months, not a single member of this administration has exhibited, even for a second, any good faith, honesty, or humanity.

Damn right!!!

He just dropped $280,000,000 worth of artillery in a war that’s not ours, but our grandparents have to live on Ramen noodles because America can’t afford Meals on Wheels anymore. Make it make sense.

I have no clue if Iran is still capable of doing any harm to Americans here or abroad. That's not my primary concern. What concerns me the most is that we've got a sociopath as POTUS, a military now violating their oath with unconstitutional strikes, and a complicit Congress and SCOTUS.

Congress didn’t just lose its power it gave it away. On war, trade, and policy, lawmakers have willingly let the executive branch rule unchecked.

Wow so you’re telling me everyone who cheered on the Iraq war is on board with this now too? And so are the people who opposed the Iran nuclear deal and killed it? You’re kidding.

Lesson of the week: Never entrust the strongest troops to the weakest being.

These are not police. By law, they have to identify. If they won’t—copy their plates, call the actual police and let them know you are witnessing armed police impersonators.

Don’t blame me, I voted for the first black President, the decent man from Scranton and the two highly intelligent successful talented supremely qualified women.

You didn’t vote for Kamala because you thought she was a warmonger and you spread that message to others. How you all holding up tonight?

You have more in common with the average Iranian citizen than you do with the people that run this country

I worry that escalating war with Iran will be used to whip up more fear and hate for non-white immigrants, particularly those of Arab descent, and be used for unjust deportations.

Congress died the moment they allowed 147 insurrectionists to remain in office instead of expelling them and charging them with sedition. That’s just my opinion.

I have no words….

Ladies and gentlemen presenting: the Four Morons of the Apocalypse. #DonaldTrump #WWIII

The war in Iran is illegal under the UN Charter, under War Powers Act, and didn't even comply with National Security Act.

Feeling really good about the fact that at this time last year our SecDef was the weekend anchor of a cable news program …

That one person can drag us into a war without consulting or even notifying Congress, or our allies, or fully explaining to the American people why this is necessary, is absolutely bonkers. Reminder that Congress has the power to stop all of this. Where the hell are they? Hello?

Please don’t presume this is now an American president making a serious decision for the good of America, not a malignant despot desperate to be seen as a strong man.

And just like that, the ‘No New Wars’ people are all-in on a new war. Proving yet again that they really believe in nothing other than what one man tells them to believe today. Which could be different tomorrow. The very definition of a cult.

Why are no headlines focusing on the unconstitutional and dictatorial nature of this action?

Remember all that “genocide Joe” and “Kamala is a war hawk” shit? Yeah…psyops. It worked.

I’ll say it again: It was a huge mistake for Congress to abolish itself.

I was thinking that maybe, more than 20 years after the start of the Iraq war, media coverage would be more skeptical and less sycophantic No such luck

illegal war started by a man constitutionally ineligible to be president

I believe this should be shared extensively... Have a great weekend! ☀️🙏🦋🌸 #Cali

it’s even more demoralizing when the history you’re repeating is history you were around for the first time

We’ve bombed Iran. And dismantled our joint terrorism task force. And sent a third of the FBI to help ICE. And gutted the National Security Council. And a drunk guy is in charge at the pentagon. And our intelligence allies probably won’t share intel with us. Because people couldn’t vote for a woman.

Mr. “Now new wars” just fucking bombed Iran WITHOUT congressional authority. Congrats MAGA.

"It's deeper than a critique of journalists. You can say, 'Fine. 'Both sides.' The left is unhappy w/ how the media covers things.' But it’s a systemic problem. Our political institutions are uniquely unable to deal w/ the rise of what is now a far-right authoritarian party" — @mcopelov.bsky.social

This is not about the merits of Iran’s nuclear program. No president has the authority to bomb another country that does not pose an imminent threat to the US without the approval of Congress. This is an unambiguous impeachable offense.

The U.S. Senate is currently considering a budget reconciliation bill that quietly includes language that could devastate our public lands. It would: - Make over 250 million acres of public land eligible for sale - Mandate the sale of at least 2 million acres of Forest Service and BLM land

You know your country has screwed up priorities when it pretends it doesn't have the money to prevent LGBTQ teen suicides but it *does* have the funds to subsidize the wealthiest man in the world's engineering incompetence. www.cbsnews.com/news/video-s...

They’ve mastered the art of unseeing, unhearing. Total control. Remarkable mutation! Only catch? It costs you your soul.

Just some creepy armed Mad Max guys trying to gain entry to Dodgers Stadium. ICE says it wasn’t them. DHS says they were Border Patrol. But honestly who the hell knows? They’ve given permission for any psycho to put on a ski mask, point a gun, grab people & throw them into an unmarked vehicle.

The at home assassination of a state lawmaker should be getting a bigger reaction from the President than someone throwing a rock at a Tesla dealership.

Meiselas: And now, the little engine that could—the one people said could never happen—the MeidasTouch Network has hit 5 million subscribers, 33 million views every 48 hours, more views than Fox News and any cable news network… we are so grateful to share this moment with you all.
