Being trans right now is waking up on Supreme Court decision days wondering if decades of precedent will be overruled to decide that we as a class no longer have constitutional protections from discrimination.

Seeing a lot of confusion about the budget's provisions on trans care--it would strip Medicaid funds for trans care (which is awful enough) but it would NOT prohibit private insurers from providing coverage for trans care. It actually does something far more narrow and wonkier

This right here is the thread/analysis I’ve been needing for what effect the ACA provisions in the budget bill would do. TLDR: not nearly as much as it seems. (The Medicaid cuts, on the other hand, are awful!)

I rewatched Pixar’s “Brave” tonight. First time watching it was while in evangelical cult, and I was so upset at the disobeying-the-parents part. This time I absolutely loved it. Merida was fully right to protest the stripping of her agency. We do not comply with unjust laws ☺️
