I’ll never stop asking this. WHAT KIND OF BLACKMAIL DOES DAVID O. RUSSELL HAVE TO STILL BE ALLOWED TO GET WORK? He’s an abusive asshat on set to his cast and crew, groped his trans niece, choked Christopher Nolan, and his last film Amsterdam was hated and a bomb that lost over $100 million!

I don’t get how this guy keeps going both cause all the allegations n also cause his movies haven’t been good in a long time

Trump is such a moron (not that you need me to tell you that). Nowadays, most movies are sent to theatres by a local distributor in a digital file. So, no, he can't put a tariff on movies.

I'm not gonna spend much time arguing with certain individuals who call all MCU movies "slopfests" but if you see the work and detail Schreier put into this movie, you're either ignorant to what actual "Slopfests" are or you're once again just on that "MCU Bad" grift for clicks. Kindly, I don't care

I've been mostly silent on this, but, this needs to be said: Studios and Film Theaters should not be *this* irresponsible with the behavior of movie audiences. Like, it's one thing if people cheer at an exciting moment or aspect of a big blockbuster. It's another to encourage being disruptive.

The "go woke, go broke" crowd is really quiet right now.

@ponysmasher.social I thought I caught the annabelle doll in until dawn in a scene with the room with the dolls. Was that really annabelle and did her spirit also reside in the room?

George Lucas: "American Imperialism is bad." J.J. Abrams: "Nazis are bad." Rian Johnson: "War profiteering is bad." Dave Filoni: "Forcing people to fight a war is bad." Jon Favreau: "Genocide is bad." Tony Gilroy: "War is bad." Some Star Wars fans: "Star Wars is about how cool war is."

Ableism is not welcome on my profile. Pass it on.

@loudtoon99.bsky.social Calling mario kart 9 mario kart world is a genius move. Just like super mario world, this emphasizes the connections between places

Relating this to animation, this was a huge reason to why Disney and Pixar movies dominated alot of Best Animated Feature. Although we have seen that streak end in the last few ceremonies, this in general is a good way to avoid awards being treated as nothing more than popularity contests.

New "Mr. Coat" episode, on the history of Disney Theatrical Productions, which has brought beloved movies like "Beauty and the Beast", "The Lion King" and "Mary Poppins" to the stage since 1994: www.youtube.com/watch?v=1WB4...
