Great showing for Coastal baseball this weekend. They swept Georgia Southern in their conference opener. They allowed the Eagles to score just three runs for the entire three game series. CCU improves to 15-5 on the season.

Coastal baseball picked up a big series win on the road at ECU to improve to 12-4 on the year. Coastal went 2-2 this week with a midweek extra innings loss at top 5 UNC and 2-1 at ECU. ECU’s record this season is not as impressive so far as prior years, but winning in Greenville isn’t easy.

Just sent to me from family living near campus: Coastal has added a nice touch to Blanton Park. The engraved letters look really nice. Big step up from individual letters being hung on the brick, in my opinion. I’m sure many photos will be taken in front of this with Singleton as a backdrop

I’ve done some thinking. I’ve always wanted this account on Twitter to focus exclusively on Coastal with no other commentary on politics etc. That’s still the case, but Elon’s Nazi salute at the inauguration pretty much solidified that I can’t in good conscience use his hellscape of an app.

Confirmed: McCall to coach at CCU. It never felt right seeing McCall in an NC State uniform. Someone like that is too closely linked to your program to think of anywhere else. Like Jordan playing for the Wizards. I don’t at all enjoy having his career ending the way it did, but I’m glad he’s home.
