Why would it be the “wrong signal”, @aussenminister.diplo.de? Because it would give starving and maimed children hope? Because it would acknowledge an ethnic group as a people? Never in my lifetime did I expect I’d see Germany backing a govt committing persecution, war crimes and ethnic cleansing.
