Maybe i'm just tired of crashing out over everything everywhere all at once, but it does seem like after a period of incomprehensible disaster we're entering into a period of shitty fallout. On all fronts bad things are slowing down and small green flags are popping up.

There has always existed a breed of designers/managers who are happy to stick ample stock imagery, fake reviews into the product. Who didn't see an issue. They're the ones happy for the advent of AI imagery; simply don't care (and never have) for truth or verisimilitude. People like me are losing.

I've been thinking on how the hell could the two cooperate, and the best i can think of is joint hybrid interventions inside the West. Russia and Iran both pull shenanigans, but they have different strengths that may complement each other. That or Russia gives Iran a big rocket for the boom-boom.

The NY election discussion seems to be driven by people who don't understand how ranked-choice voting works. Or why exists. "Don't rank X" shouldn't be a thing. Of candidates A, B and C, if you prefer B to C (but hate both passionately) you should still rank [A, B, C]. I may be missing something.
