Finally finished Left Alive. Extremely cool concept (survive in a city warzone and there are mechs), but they didn't manage to bring it all together. A fascinating collection of ideas bumping up against each other. When you begin, it feels unplayable but then you learn it and have fun. Wanzers rule!

That's SMT Devil Survivor Overclocked finished (first run, Amane route), AND WHAT A VIDEO GAME!! My favourite SMT combat so far. Every time I hit a difficult fight, it was all about digging into the systems to find the advantage. Superb game.

Dolls Nest is great! Demon's Souls exploration, pre-Armored Core 4 combat, and meaningful weapon choices. Also, the anime girl customiser has a "Thickness" value, which I turned all the way up 🙂🙂🙂
