You don't get to see a native Australian Dropbear very often! It was so cool to see this one coming down from a tree today. It's just a juvenile, they get much bigger (and way more aggressive) as they get older. This one was pretty friendly! These American tourists were amazed to see it!

This was a lot of fun to make. Hope you find it helpful.

This is what a scam looks like. A fake website purporting to be a news source, with a fake story about a TV interview that never happened, blatantly selling a product as though it's being endorsed by a celebrity, while claiming they have have been detained for doing so. nawihe.pro?utm_term=&gc...

Netflix, Qantas, Virgin, News Corp, Domino's, AGL, etc, all paid ZERO tax in Australia in the 22-23 tax year. Look at your own payslip and see how much tax YOU paid. Explain to me how this is fair. Make big corporations pay their fair share.

This is the sort of thing that we should be abandoning social media over. "The social media company (Facebook) likewise tracked when adolescent girls deleted selfies, 'so it can serve a beauty ad to them at that moment'". Vultures. futurism.com/facebook-bea...

I hope that this election sends a clear message to those who have sought to sow division and hatred. Your message and beliefs are not resonating with the people of Australia. We have shown that the politics of hatred are not welcome. #auspol #BinNight #AusVotes

America doubled down on Trump. Australia and Canada took one look at right-wing populism and said 'Yeah nah, we're good.'

Sydney has never had a Google Educators Group, but that's about to change! Official launch in June, kick off event in July. If you're a Sydney based educator (or anywhere in Australia/NZ really) and interested in learning how to best implement technology in your classroom, follow @gegsydney.com

Another brilliant Dutton plan to makes no sense in the real world. By the way, it's not that migrants are taking Australian jobs, they are usually just doing the work that most Australians don't want to do. www.theguardian.com/australia-ne...

"The study found no significant changes in earnings or hours worked after the implementation of these AI tools." So, an overhyped technology is not living up to the promises big tech made for it? I'm shocked. www.techradar.com/pro/generati...

I'm happy to say that there will soon be a Google Educator Group in Sydney. Stay tuned for the official launch of GEG Sydney in the coming weeks. #edusky #googleforeducation #gegsydney

"It’s a lot easier to click a Like button on a social post than to write a thoughtful comment to a piece of long form writing. I get it, I just think it’s unfortunate that as a society we have become ok with that." chrisbetcher.com/2025/04/a-lo...

And I'm sure everyone reads the terms of service for these platforms, am I right?

We could very easily afford universal basic income and housing for everyone if we just taxed the rich, companies, and fossil fuels sensibly. And free university education too! by "we" I mean Australia, but it applies to a lot of countries, actually!

Just hanging around. Fruit bats during the day.

What you pay for, vs what you get. Mmm, tastes like regret. I've always said that #hungryjacks burgers taste like crap, and they never fail to disappoint me. But FFS, at least try to make it look a LITTLE bit like the picture.

If your God identifies as god, human, holy spirit and mysteriously also bread, do you really get to complain about other people’s gender identity 🤔

Have spent the last few hours recording some scripts for a project I'm working on, using Adobe Podcast. Damn it's good. Whatever AI magic it's doing to the audio files, removing background noises, enhancing the mic sound, etc, is simply amazing.

@albomp.bsky.social can you come up with a plan to ensure that corporations pay their fair share of tax? I pay mine, they should pay theirs. It's just not fair otherwise. Big banks, health insurance providers, mining and gas companies. Just pay your fucking taxes. It's pretty simple.

Bravo @anildash.com , well said. 👏👏👏👏

Hey @adobe.com, I'm a Chromebook user paying for an Adobe Express subscription, but how about throwing in the web version of Photoshop to that subscription? There's no point me paying for a full Creative Cloud subscription, but it'd be good to have occasional access to the web version of Photoshop.
