My client just received the good news step that its time to pay his Right of Permanent Residence Fee so his PR application can be finalized. Sent of course in the format of a threatening letter, as one does.

Just finished DeMar DeRozan's book. As a huge Raptors fan was great to get his perpsective on family, growing up in Compton, arriving in Toronto as an 18-year old. His hurt on being traded away... and his advocacy on mental health. Great stuff!

In a era of truly stupid ideas, the 401 highway tunnel is an outlier. * induced demand means it will never solve the traffic * it will cost a fortune * City of Ottawa's study on a 3km underground highway- $2 Billion - (9 years ago!) - project no longer considered * Ford wants 30-70 km !!

IRCC recently made Express Entry changes to drop 50 CRS points for those that have job offers in Canada. I was very curious what effect this would have on the pool of candidates. How large of a group would lose points? How would this effect score distribution ?

Dear Americans, In the Westminster parliamentary system, which Canada follows, one does not "run yo be Prime Minister". The party with the most seats is asked by the Governor General to form government. Only then does that party's leader become PM, after being sworn in by the GG.
