My client just received the good news step that its time to pay his Right of Permanent Residence Fee so his PR application can be finalized. Sent of course in the format of a threatening letter, as one does.

I love being part of the Queens community! What a great idea!

Guitar content ! A guitar I made for a good friend who wondered what a tele would be like if it was really more of a Les Paul Custom, but with a Gretsch wiring scheme and a Filtertron pickup!

Great stuff! Really would like us to move forward and end FPTP!

Just finished DeMar DeRozan's book. As a huge Raptors fan was great to get his perpsective on family, growing up in Compton, arriving in Toronto as an 18-year old. His hurt on being traded away... and his advocacy on mental health. Great stuff!

In a era of truly stupid ideas, the 401 highway tunnel is an outlier. * induced demand means it will never solve the traffic * it will cost a fortune * City of Ottawa's study on a 3km underground highway- $2 Billion - (9 years ago!) - project no longer considered * Ford wants 30-70 km !!

Wow Jets... OT... increbidle comeback.

IRCC recently made Express Entry changes to drop 50 CRS points for those that have job offers in Canada. I was very curious what effect this would have on the pool of candidates. How large of a group would lose points? How would this effect score distribution ?

Canada needs to think through our response to the US threat in a way we haven’t yet done. One big reason we desperately need a Royal Commission. www.thestar.com/opinion/cont...

If this results in a national unity crisis, it is because political leaders like D. Smith choose to cultivate a narrative of betrayal instead of engaging constructively through intergovernmental cooperation to find feasible policy solutions. www.theglobeandmail.com/opinion/arti...

NEW: CTV cancelled a fact-checking segment in response to political pressure from Pierre Poilievre’s Conservatives An audio recording obtained by PressProgress shows CTV cancelled an ‘election misinformation’ segment with journalist Rachel Gilmore after online backlash from conservatives

Impossible to disagree with a single word in here: “We now urgently need those newspapers to be owned by loyal Canadians committed to Canada’s independence — not by a hedge fund aligned with a manipulative and deceitful power-monger who has designs on us.” www.thestar.com/opinion/cont...

FUCKING TERRIFYING

If Canadians really want to support trans folks in the U.S., they have to fight like hell against the same anti-trans rhetoric and policies here at home. We literally have provinces passing anti-trans legislation. Canada is not safe.

Julie's session is great, highly recommend!

BREAKING: Mexican Cartels abandon Canada after being forced to conduct business in both English and French

Dear Americans, In the Westminster parliamentary system, which Canada follows, one does not "run yo be Prime Minister". The party with the most seats is asked by the Governor General to form government. Only then does that party's leader become PM, after being sworn in by the GG.

One of the ways 5 Eyes benefits the members on a every day level is on visa processing. When my clients have their fingerprints taken for Canadian applications, those prints are shared with the other 4 partners. The process is very fast.
