What is common knowledge in your field, but. shocks outsiders? The entire internet runs without rules, just a few agreements called RFCs, "Request For Comments". The World Wide Web on top of the internet is just a few *optional* standard practices maintained by the World Wide Web Consortium, W3C.

I have reached the point in my musical reinvention where I realize I have to just play scales. A lot. All the time. So many scales. Really fast scales. I tried to play a fast bop tune last week and it just did not come out my fingers.
