I hope #ukgov doesnt go down this path to eliminate #DEI as Trump is doing. The Equality Act 2010 is an essential piece of legislation and prevents discrimination. DEI gets a bad name because some focus on quotas instead of creating a level playing field - as I wrote about here bit.ly/3Q4OBP2

This is barbaric. What Hamas did was also barbaric. When are people going to stop killing and start talking? You can’t argue disproportionately killing innocent people is the only option unless there are ulterior motives. There must be intent to resolve diplomatically. So sad this is happening.

In my area, Lloyds Group of which Blackrock is a shareholder is buying up hundreds of new homes for the private rental market. This is tying up precious housing stock for corporate profit. The UK gov are allowing this to happen and indeed are partnering with them. youtu.be/ZsMwrlQ7Wa8?...

If you haven’t experienced this, it’s hard to imagine the sick feeling of getting a bill you know you can’t pay. I have. I was lucky, I realised I had the inner wherewithal to claw my way out and over this and am proud I did. Hope and helping people become aware of their power is the answer.

I read @hcrichardson.bsky.social letters every day. So helpful in joining the dots around the confusion of what’s happening in USA. I get a sense that Trump et al are becoming emboldened despite some robust challenges. An extremely scary intent from them is “remigration” - be aware friends.

Call me cynical but Elon cannot be sloping off to look after his failing businesses. This feels like it’s just to keep a low profile because of the damage to his profile and protecting his billions. He must still be involved in data collection and how that’s used and that’s scary.
