Have you ever finished a new version of your app but then put off releasing it because Dub Dub was about to happen and you couldn't deal with anything that went wrong but then it's weeks later and you realized you never remembered to release it? Me neither.

There were SO MANY good sessions this year!

only 3 days left to submit your proposal(s)!

Ever wondered how much in costs to run a conference? Here's the breakdown of 2024s conference with numbers for everything. Hopefully this helps those thinking about it and lets people know what really goes on behind the scenes www.timc.dev/posts/the-co...

Having a very goofy app icon definitely draws attention to yourself. At WWDC I had several complete strangers tell me that they liked my shirt. ☺️ Now I need to do what @swifteves.bsky.social did and have a different colored app icon shirt for each day of the month.

I am so, so behind in learning what's new this year but WOW did Xcode's Playgrounds get a nice update for showing output. This will be huge for my productivity with trying sample code. This is the same output with Xcode 16 and 26. 🤯

Here you go, my first talk is live 🙌🏻 I gave it at the recent @createwithswift.bsky.social Napoli Meetup. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Og-K... I have to admit, I’m even more nervous to share it with the world, than I was before giving it (1/2) #BuildInPublic #IndieDev #iOS #Dev #iOSDev #Swift #SwiftUI

TIL that the screenshots I've been taking with macOS are PNG files that can be huge. You can change the default to JPG with a terminal command.

🎨 In iOS 26, you can now use the Shortcuts app with Apple’s Cloud model to generate ALT-friendly captions for any photo. Great for accessible social media posts! #iOS26 #ShortcutsApp #Accessibility #ALTtext

To their credit T-Mobile's support has been in contact with me at regular intervals about how their system rejects names less than 3 characters. They're making a system-wide update to address it (which will take some time).

For my localizable Strings with arguments I've been putting them in a function, which is a technique I learned from @danijelavrzan.com . Now that can Xcode 26 can generate symbols from the String Catalog directly I can do this so much faster!

Reminder that if you're doing accessibility work you can quickly turn settings on and off with Siri.

One challenge led to InMyEyes, an app that helps creatives test and adapt color palettes for color blindness in real time. A small step toward inclusive design, built with care and curiosity. Now on the App Store → lnkd.in/gyhtUEPQ. Make colors accessibile for everyone! (2/2)

HOW GOOD IS @danijelavrzan.com AT ART??????

Feels good turning these all on for @pleasedontrain.com on the App Store. Accessibility nutrition labels are a great addition!
