As someone who's hated AI hype since the previous hype cycle (2016-2017) I completely agree with this. Don't let AI hype and fraud turn you against AI in principle. AI is just advanced algorithms - something with endless applications that we've been using for a long time. It's not a bad thing.

Wild story. German coast guard shadowed a Russian freighter and seven drones surrounded them. For three hours. CG left a known gunrunner ship to shadow this one. AIS got glitchy, drones galore. No one/nothing was shot/apprehended/documented? Also, drones were sighted over Ramstein on Mar 9th!?
