Plumes of dense smoke from uncontained wildfires in Manitoba, Canada, will blow across more than a dozen central and eastern states Friday and Saturday. A milky haze will overtake Midwestern skies Friday, reducing air quality from Minnesota to Michigan and southward to Illinois and Indiana.
