They absolutely did vote for this. They just assumed the moms deported would be mom's they didn't know and so could, without challenge, view as an evil and unworthy Other it would be okay to inflict cruelty on. A lot of voters are actually bad people and we have to stop pretending otherwise.

WTAF?! At 7 I was routinely walking or riding my bike to school, unsupervised, or walking to the library and/or shops in the center of town. At 8 or 9 I was doing routine stints as a line leader, shepherding other little kids safely across the street after school.

I attended engineering school in the days when the ratio of men to women was around 10:1 and maintained a fairly active dating life throughout. A lot of mileage can be had from being a decent human being, and showing genuine interest in women as people.
