The people who are worried about this understand that The Finals will be aired in all markets, right? Not just local television for the teams participating.

This portrait will be another addition to the game "Which Substance Is This Trump Appointee Abusing?" It's probably being pitched in the same deck as "Who Wants to be a US Citizen?"

When the show's original finale aired, my son (9 at the time) wrote Disney a letter with some suggestions on how they could continue the show. Looks like they finally read his pitch.

Just watched a documentary about the Y2K bug that ends with everyone celebrating about how the world survived and showing off 1/1/2000 newspapers with the secondary headline about Boris Yeltsin ceding power to Vladimir Putin. One apocalypse gave way to another.

If it's lacking marketed stars, that's not an issue with the team's participating.

They must hire holocaust deniers to prove they aren't antisemitic.

Her energy here is very much like my high school English teacher that told students "life's a bitch and then you die" when they voiced any complaints.

Disappointed, on behalf of Dave Bliss, but happy, as a Thunder fan.

I'm certain these ICE agents were among the people saying they didn't want to wear masks during COVID because they couldn't breathe when doing so.

The issue opposing teams/fans have with SGA creating free throws is not that he is doing something underhanded. It's that their only hope at slowing SGA down is to foul and they would very much like their players to get away with doing that.

If you actually read the article, he was awarded the damages by default (despite the judge saying he didn’t have a strong enough case) because the person he was suing refused to respond.

Why did the Knicks fire Tom Thibodeau? Because he became too woke.

Go back one more year and the list is two guys.

I suspect the players had some say in Thibs' firing, particularly Brunson whose dad is one of the decision makers. Thibs limits the team's ceiling by overplaying his guys and not developing the bench. He also reduces his players' long-term earnings by using them like an NFL running backs.

Does the team rebuild? The Bulls sure haven't.

I can't blame the Knicks for thinking they can do better than Thibs. But I also can.

Remember when this pic of Elián González was a national scandal instead of a daily occurrence?

That's a strange spin to admit you're going to kill off the poors so there are fewer people who need Medicaid.

You're telling me this guy who looks like he'd be cast as a degenerate gambler in an HBO series might not be qualified to run a Federal agency?

If Indiana sends him into the game, things have gone very well for the Thunder.

"You see, when I said they could eat cake, I meant that just because you couldn't eat bread, that didn't mean you have to starve."

Brilliant for the umpire to double down on his awful call in a way that brings it to the attention of exponentially more people.

Just saw the most baseballist stat on the chyron of MLB Network: “De La Cruz becomes 5th youngest Reds player to reach 50 home runs since 1990.”

Siakam is going to make me crazy next week.
