Just got off Air Canada flight Denver to Toronto. Plenty of empty seats, maybe about 70 percent full. Just one data point, but personal verification that perhaps Canadian citizens are really avoiding US travel.

Fort Collins precipitation totals from yesterday as per CoCoRaHS. The south end of town got hammered by thunderstorms that kept redeveloping under the upslope flow. Many spots exceeded 1-inch of rainfall, adding to the rainfall from earlier in the week. Even hail reported SW FOCO. #cowx

It has been a wild day in Fort Collins. Storms with some hail and heavy rain, mostly impacting SW FOCO. The chart shows the TWO HOUR rainfall per FC Utilities network. A gauge near the S College Target exceeded 1.0 inch of rainfall for the storm on top of yesterday's soaking rains. #cowx

These are the 2-hour rainfall totals capturing the ongoing storm in Fort Collins. SW FOCO is the most impacted with upwards of 0.4 inches rainfall. Even reports of hail in SW FOCO from this storm. I'm still getting rain and hearing thunder at my place at 200pm. #cowx

Precipitation totals from Monday night through Tuesday across Fort Collins based on CoCoRaHS. Rainfall totals mostly around 1-inch in town with higher totals in the foothills. A nice soaking rain that should help cut into the ongoing drought. #cowx

Updated Fort Collins rainfall totals thru 5pm. A burst of heavier rain between 400 and 430 boosted totals to around 3/4-inch around much of FOCO. CSU Campus at 0.7 inches for the 24-hour precipitation total. 1.0 plus inch totals in the foothills west of town. Data from FC Utilities. #cowx

The meteorological norms have flipped under the southeast flow tonight. Denver is mostly dry because they are in the shadow of the Palmer Divide and Fort Collins seeing light rain as the Cheyenne Ridge is providing upslope. Rainfall totals in FOCO thru 9pm Monday. #cowx
