Super glad we tore up that nuclear deal. It’s gone so well since.

Just saw an interview with a U.S. Secret Service agent named Matt McCool and, I’m sorry, but if you put a USSS agent named Matt McCool in your movie, we’d all roll our eyes.

If it wasn’t ChatGPT, it’d be YouTube or Reddit or chat groups or a religious cult. Some people, I’m convinced, are simply ripe for delusional thinking. But maybe LLMs wouldn’t be quite so capable of spiraling people if the media and business worlds didn’t treat them with unearned legitimacy.

I have a joke about Sisyphus, but it just keeps starting over.

It’s almost like DHS forgot it needs funding and needs the Senate to help pass it. I’m hoping the Senate remembers, however.

"These people are throwing rocks, bricks at police officers." J6 people killed cops and got pardoned

Describe a favorite movie in the most misleading way possible. A man goes on an adventure after bringing a stranger water.

Incredible.

Who would’ve figured that this dude would dramatically expand the potential of pop music? Listen closely even to radio hits like “Good Vibrations” or “God Only Knows” and you’ll see how bananas they are structurally. Key and tempo changes abound. Strange instruments. Those vocals. RIP to a pioneer.

Acquire new @blacktopkid.bsky.social? Check. Support local bookstore? Check. I can basically call it a day now, right?

For #Pride, check out BACKMASK, a novel set in the West Village before Stonewall and features out two leads getting picked up in chapter one for cross dressing. CONTENT WARNING: MURDER, DRUGS AND SIXTIES STYLE SWINGING

Getting better advice out of our fortune cookies than we are the CDC anymore.

“The administrators must have liked her look, which was that of a dusky-eyes catwalk model in withdrawal. Her ruin suited her, like crushed silk.”

Cult of what now

Y’all.👇

Same tbh

“Inevitably, with anyone she’d ever loved, the equation never changed: I have genitals. You have genitals. Let’s mash them together.”

@writerstevens.bsky.social is a hell of a writer and a hell of a good dude. Looking forward to getting to this one soon.

Thanks to CBS Sunday Morning’s “Moment of Nature,” I just learned there are these birds called grebes, and this is how they get around.

The Battle of Home Depot is being written into history books as we speak.

Re-watched “Strange Darling” tonight, and man, if that performance doesn’t make Willa Fitzgerald a star, I don’t know what will.

Here in Georgia, we’ve entered that three-month season I like to call Never Not Sweaty.

Halfway through the final season of “Mr. Inbetween” and I just can’t get over how well written it is. It gets more and more emotionally complex and yet stays so efficient in its storytelling. If you’ve not seen this show, you’re seriously missing out.

This was two days ago. I trust other US District Court judges are paying attention. Contempt, or even its credible threat, still works.

I’m going to re-read before the movie is released. This is such a tremendous novel.

Today I learned that Big Brother & the Holding Company did a cover of “Summertime” that fuckin slaps. Janis Joplin could flat out sing when she wanted to.

Who among us hasn’t.
