Apparently I sent my kid a text at 2:17 this morning saying “So I was telling you about this book yesterday.” I have no memory of doing this, and no idea what book that would be. I was asleep before midnight (unusual, but yesterday was a long, active day and I was tired.) Sleep texting???

Huh. Forgot that the Ayatollah Khomeini died on this date in 1989. Possibly because that news was drowned out by the Tianenmen Square massacre (which also occurred on this date in this time zone.)
