Yeah I guess LeBron putting up a 22.6 PER is pretty special, but it's not that impressive when you compare him to people rolling out of bed and firing off something like this at age 86.

We are never “making amends” with Elon musk or RFK Jr. No nazis. No eugenicists. I hope this helps!

It’s never been clearer that US aid for the Israeli military is morally indefensible, and there’s never going to be a better time than right now to stop defending it.

Is there a group of these photos of people enjoying retribution coming to Nottoway after 165 years? Because this made me giggle.

For the June issue of @thenation.com, I wrote about the Harper’s letter 5 years later, and how under a quarter of its signatories have spoken out about Mahmoud Khalil and other campus activists imprisoned for speech.

"Woke" -- changing norms through social pressure -- is not, contra the reactionary centrists, another form of tyranny. It's the *alternative* to tyranny. It's new norms winning through the marketplace of ideas. The alternative is what we see now: enforcing norms via the threat of state violence.

Oregon bill requiring big tech pay damages to local news orgs moves forward. Sen. James Manning said he was recently visited by Meta lobbyists who said they’d take oregon news off their sites if the bill passes. “They came in threatening. I don’t like to be threatened.” www.opb.org/article/2025...
