Binge watching BBC's Death Valley - loving it. Especially love recognising all the British actors in it. Hope there's a series 2.

My memory is shocking. I'm at the stage when I think of a web site I'd like to look at, and by the time I've opened my laptop, I've forgotten what I want to see. Shocking.

Me and the Chick's out for food.

In Cambridge with the little mammy and the baby sister.

Tonight sorted. 🥳🥳🥳

There's an advert on the telly for a tablet for erectile dysfunction. He comes up behind her, at the hob, while she's making proper espresso. I mean, yeah it's sex, but proper espresso. Nee competition!

Last week you could have fun power stations off me arse I was so hot, today I've got the heating on. The weather is bonkers, even for us.

Yes I know I'm saving the planet but can we agree that paper straws are wank!

I've found a programme called Canal Boat Diaries on "U" and it's giving me joy. Watching from the beginning and just left to play until I have to move, so calming.

The 'With These Hands' exhibition at Laing Art Gallery is really good.

Afternoon tea with the chicks before a trip to the Gallery.

Rewatching Ted Lasso. Forgot what a prick Nate was. ☹️

Eurovision have banned the Pride flags - did I read that right? I mean, I can't even........ READ THE ROOM LADS!!!

Fun walk with girl chick

Just spent 6 hours in A&E waiting for test results for mum. When they eventually called her name I jumped up and shouted "House". Felt like we'd won anyway. 🤣

Me mother was born in 1936, so trying to convince her the pope's death isn't an omen has been fun. 🙄

Got an overwhelming feeling to see the High Level Bridge last week. The girl chick and I walked over it. It's brutal and beautiful, and the view is spectacular.

Just caught a line on TV about Princess Anne. She was born in the middle of the last century. Was just thinking "good grief that's ancient" when I realised I was born in 1959, THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT ME!!! Had to go to bed before I decay. 😱

What a day. Blossom at Alnwick Garden followed by picnic at Warkworth estuary with the boy chick. Still got rhe rest of rhe Coastal Route on the way home too. Bliss.

About a year ago mum took ill (doing better now) & I took over meds, doctors, treatments, etc. Rewatching House, I now realise how much info I've absorbed/learned. I can understand a surprising amount this time 😆

After 2 gorgeous weeks, today is freezing, so I've decided on Paddington in Peru, good coffee and a tray of Costco cookies. Day redeemed.

If you're looking for a gorgeous face cream that doesn't break the bank, this from Aldi is lush. Someone recommended it to me ages ago, so paying it forward.

Was reminded of this yesterday when a friend in their 70's started asking how she could get rid of Meta on her phone, but still use FB & Insta. Also spent an age explaining about clickbait & not to repost stuff about stealing data. 🤣 youtu.be/EnGtNOBb-q0?...

I mean I'm not certain but a cheese and onion crisp sandwich, a freezing glass of Sauvignon, and new Dr Who, may well be the perfect end to a day spent with everyone I love. 😍
